However, gun deaths are never enough. Just so we're clear on that.

Guns is the first thing I think about when this argument comes up. Specifically, I think about Obama talking "common sense" gun control, and how it'd all be worth it if we could save just ONE life.

Meanwhile, democrats and lefties arguing about tightening up restrictions on people coming into the country to cut down on violent crimes by illegal immigrants, or the threat of violent terror incidents, are always quick to point out how, if you compare these threats to cancer. . . drop in the bucket. Statistically irrelevant. Fuck those poor unfortunate few.

But when it comes to the 2nd amendment, tightening up on THAT right is totally worth it if it saves even 1 guy.
