I believe that is what Don Jr. and you mean when you say, the Right Witnesses. How about ALL witnesses pertinent to the 2 articles of Impeachment.

Why don’t they just call Trump?

The ONLY person that can really claim Executive Privilege is Trump so he can't be called if he doesn't want to. And it's not really executive privilege, you can't be force to testify against yourself.
