Trump: I eat Mexican food all the time!

Trump, dining at Taco Bell, held up a seven layer burrito and excalimed "Great people, great food"

Free speech is a great thing.

Too bad so many groups use bully tactics to try to minimize it.

Noble and Patriotic I must say... not

Free speech means the government cannot punish you for what you say

It never meant that there are no consequences for what you say

Like I said, bullying (ok for adults/groups to do it, just not kids....)

Every time you open your mouth you are subject to criticism of what you say. That does not infringe on your free speech and is not bullying

Yet, it has been said the religious conservatives were repressing progressives by rallying for their cause.
So I guess it really just depends on whether the cause is something you support (or not).

What does that have to do with Trump eating a burrito?

not much

To demonstrate his love of the Mexican people, Donald Trump showed off his Chihuahua

That's not actually in the article, dude.

Of course, the stuff you made up isn't much crazier than what The Donald actually goes around saying.

Wait--this is a fake joke. None of it actually happens including Trump saying he eats Mexican food, right?

Ok--I have t read the article. I can't tell fact from fiction with Trump!!

You sure it's a joke?

You know how the Donald can be

While I don't particularly care for Trump, I do enjoy the brief moments where he says things without much fear.

I can understand why pc is a burden in everyday life.

But in politics, political correctness is your daily bread. Only a fool would run and not know that!!

In an effort to be politically correct, Hillary offered to eat a truly typical Mexican meal.

Especially good with very spicy salsa.

What do you think Mexicans ate before the coming of Europeans?

They didn't have cattle, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, or any of the other domesticated animals Europeans brought.

Ever thought of what is considered "typical" or "authentic" Mexican food?

Rice came from Indian via Manila.
Flour came from grains brought from Europe.
Tomatoes are from Peru.
Onions came from Europe.

The only truly "authentic" items are maize, beans, squash, chilis, and seafood.

Oh yeah - no cheese on tacos or burritos or any of the rest because they had no dairy animals.

That more than makes up for the genocide of their people.

Actually, it was the ancient Trumps who brought these foods to Mexico

Is this an argument that authentic Mexican food is bland(even with Spanish influence)

Or an argument that the introduction of diverse products from different cultures is the key to modern Mexican cuisine?
