Trump goes of rail on Tweet--accuses Russia, Democrats and the FBI of fabricating the Russian story

"This is, of course, somewhat common fare by this point in the arc of Trump's presidency. Faced this week with storylines he doesn't like -- questions about the Niger attack, controversy over a phone call he placed to the widow of one of the soldiers lost in that attack, Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Capitol Hill facing questions about Russian meddling in the election -- he aims to change the subject via his Twitter feed. And he often does so by lobbing out a conspiracy theory with only the loosest ties to the factual world.

But even by Trump standards, this morning's tweet is somewhat remarkable. He is suggesting that a dossier prepared by a former member of British intelligence has not only been totally discredited (it hasn't -- more on that in a minute) but that it might have been funded by some combination of Russia, the Democratic Party and, wait for it, the FBI!

At issue is a dossier prepared by Christopher Steele, a former British spy, which details explosive allegations about potential ties between Trump's campaign and Russia. The dossier's more salacious elements regarding Trump have drawn most of the attention -- and remain totally unproven. But it appears as though US intelligence officials do take some chunk of what Steele found quite seriously."

As many know already FUSION GPS was hired by Jeb Bush to originally do opposition research on Trump. Fusion then hired a retired M1-6 agent Christopher Steele--who has years of experience spying on Russia. When Bush dropped out of the race, Democrats picked it up for awhile, then dropped it. Then Christopher Steele thought the Dossier file was serious enough that he gave it to John McCain and McCain delivered it to Obama. Shortly thereafter, Obama ordered all Russian diplomats out of this country and ordered the Russian investigation.

Fusion GPS had a closed door hearing with the Senate Intelligence committee that lasted for 7 hours, and Christopher Steele has already been interviewed by Robert Mueller.

The issue is still open according to Richard Burr.

I think Mueller had better watch his back, because it appears he is personally involved in treason and bribery.

Taking the 5th is a tacit admission that something criminal occurred.

You liberals are attacking Trump about Russians, I guess y’all are just as upset with Hillery, now that she is being investigated by a special counsel over Russian pay for play, I mean y’all aren’t hypocrites are you.

I likely missed the point but I'll say it anyway. For me and many around me, Russia, the democrats, and the FBI are becoming the story and kind of have been for a year or so.

Again the Senate already had a 7 hour hearing with the CEO of Fusion GPS and HE DID not plead the 5th throughout 7 hours, he answered questions, and he was actually involved in the Dossier file.
Senate committee to vote on releasing Fusion GPS testimony

So the House subpeana's two co-founders--(the owners) and they plead the 5th. Is it because they didn't know anything about the Dossier file--as they were not involved in it's production.

Furthermore, I am glad you mentioned the 5th. Michael Flynn (former National Security advisor to Trump) pleaded the 5th, and he too mentioned that anyone that pleads the 5th is guilty.---
