We (the right) believe that immigration is healthy for our nation and is morally admirable in many cases, however, we also believe that we should take the interests of the American people into consideration with regard to which immigrants we allow in and how many. Look at California. They have the highest poverty rate in the U.S. and one of the highest (if not the highest) homeless rate in America. A lot of that has to do with UNLIMITED, ILLEGAL immigration.
