Speaking of "stupid", why do Americans do that? I can see chanting "USA, USA, USA!!" at a sporting event where an American team is taking on another nation's teamor when you've just won a war, at any other event on American soil where there is nobody but Americans, it seems entirely pointless. But chanting USA, USA, USA at a wedding? It doesn't in any way seem patriotic either, more cultlike and creepy than anything.
