We and other nations have poured tens of millions of dollars into Gaza, but Gaza's corrupt, terrorist-backing leaders have squandered it--they've spent a good chunk of it on weapons. Gaza's leaders live in plush villas and get driven around in limousines, etc., etc., while the average Palestinian in Gaza is living just above or well below the poverty level. Most Palestinian leaders are lying snakes. The Palestinians could start by not naming streets after terrorists and by ceasing to print children's textbooks that contain vile anti-Semitic propaganda.

This issue shows that liberals are becoming increasingly extreme. Liberals used to strongly support Israel, partly because it has always been a predominantly socialist country and the only democracy in the Middle East. But now you have a growing number of liberals who are openly anti-Israeli and who scream about every Israeli sin but ignore the far more serious and numerous Palestinian sins.

It is especially odd to see growing numbers of liberals favoring Gaza over Israel when the Muslim-extremist-run nation of Gaza remains openly hostile toward gays, does not allow same-sex marriage, and discriminates against women (largely because it embraces Sharia law).

Do you know anything about Israel? Israel has a vibrant free press, has elected Muslim representatives in its legislature (the Knesset), has an independent judiciary, has freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and every other basic right that America has. No other Middle Eastern nation even comes close to being as free and democratic as Israel.

Having lived in Israel, I will readily say that I hope the Palestinians never get a state in the West Bank. Look at the horrible mess the Palestinians have made of Gaza. We should keep in mind that the West Bank would still belong to Jordan if Jordan had not entered the Six-Day War in 1967. And why did Jordan enter the Six-Day War? Because they thought Israel was about to be destroyed and they wanted to get in on the action.

Going back even further, if the Palestinians and their Arab buddies had not rejected the UN's 1947 partition plan, they would have a state in the West Bank.

All Trump has done is put any sort of Palestinian peace process forever out of reach. Nothing major.

No he hasn't. Both Israel and the Palestinians are building settlements in the disputed territories. When the Palestinians finally love their own children more than they love killing Jews, they will get a State and the Jewish settlements will likely be included in the Jewish portion, while the Palestinian settlements within Israel, close to the line, will likely be included in new Palestinian state. The radical Left is only bothered by this, because like the Palestinians, they do not recognize the right of the Jewish State to exist, at all.
