Trump And Israel: Carrots And Peas

For clarity.....the term 'settlement' is misleading.

Informative (as usual), but it seems to beg a larger question: Why are these cities/settlements being built where they are?

Is it because land within the pre-1967 borders is scarce or undesirable? Or is it a declaration of ownership and/or bargaining chip regarding the land acquired by Israel after that time? Or maybe both?

The only permanent element in the Middle East seems to be enduring conflict.

Anyone who claims Moslems have ever abused Jews is a liar because not only have Jews lived under Moslem rule for almost 2000 years, but greatly prefer it to Christian rule, where they have been greatly persecuted.
If Moslems had any history of abusing Jews, then Jews would not have emigrated en masse to Palestine after 1920.

Anyone who claims it was not Zionists who started and commits all the terrorism in the Mideast is a liar.
All you have to do is look back to when it all started, like who blew up the British peacekeepers in the King David Hotel, who machine gunned down the UN moderator, Folke Bernadotte, who started massacring innocent villages like Dier Yassin, etc.

I like how Democrats shame Israel and give China a total pass for the same stuff. It's almost like Democrats around the world really hate the people who live in Israel. Imagine if the Hong Kong people were muslims and the Chinese Democrats were jews, what the Democrats here would be saying.

Who are the eternal targets of Islamists.

Jews.

What is the only country that Obama sent paid apparatchiks to target and destabilize?

Obama admin. sent taxpayer money to campaign to oust Netanyahu

“During Israel’s 2015 elections, the Obama administration — led by Secretary of State John Kerry — illegally intervened when they attempted to defeat the reelection of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by covertly funneling State Department grants to opposition groups. The Obama administration detested Netanyahu due to his refusal to cave into Palestinian demands, a group that even refused to recognize the existence of Israel.”

These ties lay at the heart of Jewish history and religion."

It is clear for anyone to see that Jerusalem and the whole West Bank is not legally part of Israel.
Israel has absolutely no historic or legal existence other than the UN partition of Palestine in 1947.
Which clearly leaves Jerusalem and the West Bank out of Israel.

This shows how little land was ever purchased or owed by Jews, and how much free land was given to Israel by the UN, as well as the fact Israel was NOT given the West Bank or Jerusalem.

If that were true......this wouldn't be:

In 2012, the official number of Arab residents in Israel increased to 1,617,000 people, about 21% of Israel's population. The Arab population in 2019 was estimated at 1,890,000 people, representing 20.95% of the country's population.

In a civilized country, it would be a crime to even point a rifle at civilians like that.

The reality is there are about 12 million Moslem Arabs in Palestine/Israel, and only about 6 million Jews, in Palestine/Israel.
And the Moslem Arabs are native, while almost all the Jews are from immigration since 1920.

You got me on that one.
I believe Bill Clinton was president during the Elian Gonzales raid.
And I think it was handled very badly.

Israel isn't going away and neither is Palestine. So, if both sides would acknowledge each other's existence and try to come together to work out their differences then there might just be peace in the Middle East.
