Well... the bottom line is, the Nigerians do not have the technical know-how, to produce oil. Neither do the Iranians, or the Venezuelans, nor a ton of places.

This is why they invited companies to come in an exploit the oil.

Because if you can't get the oil out of the ground, and you can't refine it.... then what value does it really have? Zero.

So the question becomes do we want some profits, while allowing foreigners to drill and produce oil? Or no profits, without foreigners?
