Trouble with our Union,... who to turn to?

Sorry if this post doesn't belong here, I'm not sure where it could go.
Our Union is trying to enforce their proposal without a vote by heading straight to the government, how can you fight that?

They want to cap our work hours and we clearly voted no on this. Now that they have other plans having only our "best interests" in mind who can we turn to?
So far we wrote letters and have thousands of votes against our Unions ideas, what is the best way to approach this and WHO (?) do we contact in office/ send our protests to?

We have to fight this.
Thank you.

And somebody said the unions have the workers' best interests in mind.

Unions have become that which they were formed to protect against: Organizations that exploit workers for money.
