Pelosi says she has the 218 votes for public option healthcare reform....but Clyburn, says not yet. What's the problem? Might be time to start adding some pork to the bill to pay off some of these pesky holdouts.

The votes still are not there for healthcare reform legislation, the House's third-ranking Democrat said Wednesday night.

House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) said that Democrats are "not there yet" in terms of getting 218 votes for health reform, contradicting House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-Calif.) assertion earlier yesterday that she "definitely" has 218 votes for a bill.

The votes are there....we will get a healthcare bill

Its just the final version has not been worked out. It is looking like Public Option is back on the table again

Guess you missed the lates news report. The only chance the public option had was getting out of the house....but today it was revealed that the numbers were not there...IN THE HOUSE.....

No issue. We will have healthcare reform....but not some government controlled piece of crap.
