Paid for by Pentagon, from Department of Defense's discretionary funding

This is going to drive Queen P and Chuckie up the wall

The Department of Homeland Security — which has had to cease some operations, although not border security — made the request for more troops to shore up the border with Mexico.

The request will very likely mean the deployment of more forces, including combat engineers and aviation units. There are now some 2,300 active troops on the border and an additional 2,100 National Guard troops.

The active-duty deployment was scheduled to be completed at the end of January, while the Guard troops are scheduled to remain until September.

A senior military official said the new request could include thousands more troops and that installing the fencing could take months. The Pentagon is now considering which units to send.

I would think out of the defense budget they could come up with $5 billion. If this is truly happening then it is immoral however to have Border Patrol and Coast Guard working while their pay is being withheld.

"More troops are expected to be deployed to the Southern border to construct or upgrade 160 miles of fencing and provide medical care to a steady stream of migrant families arriving from Central America, according to military sources."

How long before the DoD starts building concentration camps for migrants (and their children)?

Yeah 5 billion out of 600 billion, surely the generals could do with one less bimbo at taxpayers expense.

Never. Next question.

Cool looks like we can pocket that $5 billion then
The Dems gave 10 billion to Honduras.

When did they do that; they’ve been in power in the House since noon yesterday?
They passed a budget bill in that time, the Senate is refusing to vote on it. They passed two bills in fact.

So they haven’t given anything to any one, correct.
Trump stopped it by threatening to veto it so the Senate refuses to vote on it but the House passed it. There is also a scandal that they snuck in some financing for Abortions in the bill, undoing a law that stopped the US from paying for forced abortions in China.

Link to the veto threat from the bill passed yesterday please.

Passing bills that never will get past the Senate will be the Democrats modus operandi for the next two years.

That doesn't negate the fact that they have attempted to, cupcake. If they are "oh so concerned" about the less fortunate of the USA, why wasn't that $10 billion directed towards our own citizens?

You get all your news from USMB? Or is the left wing media not reporting on it?
He said he wouldn't sign it, the head of the Senate said he wouldn't waste time voting on something the President wouldn't sign.
Turn on Fox News and watch it yourself.

The House passed two budget bills. One of which has 54 billion earmarked for foreign countries. They throw borrowed money away on foreign countries but can't build the wall. Makes no sense.
