This has worked quite well for so many Republican candidates ... McCain, $arah, Angle, Noot, Brewer ... I'm sure others can name other R candidates who run from reporters and voters.
Considering that we've been getting a really good look at Mittens' opinions and positions on various issues, its not surprising that he has apparently decided to STFU.
Remember when Arlen Specter told the crowd to be quiet so a heckler could speak? President Obama has done the same thing repeatedly.
Can't blame the R's for wanting to stick with their prepared speeches.
