Turns out the traitor had been an illegal alien but got amnesty for his crime. Another invader who says he came here as a kid!!!

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Just days after claiming the Silver medal in the Men’s 1,500 meters at the London 2012 Olympics, former Longhorn Leo Manzano’s victory celebration has touched a nerve.

In an editorial on CNN.com, contributor and syndicated Washington Post columnist Ruben Navarrette Jr., called out Manzano for holding up both an American and Mexican flag.

“It's about being part of a team -- the U.S. Olympic team," Navarette wrote. "It's about national pride, not ego. Manzano wasn't there to compete for himself but to represent his country. All he had to do was decide which country that was. He chose not to choose."

Manzano, 27, was born in Mexico and brought here to the United States illegally as a child.

He eventually became a U.S. citizen and now represents his home of Marble Falls, which eagerly and enthusiastically watched Manzano win the first medal in the 1,500 meters for Team USA in 44 years.

Let him move back and let us know how it works out..if it's true.

Not surprised. Illegals are not here to learn the language and become Americans, they want it the other way around.

"I am honored and excited to represent both the United States and Mexico by earning this silver,"

Wow, unfuckinbelievable !
This is what it's come to folks !
Are we going to stand for shit like this ?

Please point out where the word treason was used?

WTF kind of ? is that? The corporate media SUPPORTS this invader. Can you think at all?

First, this is not politics, it is media. Second, that is not treason. At best it is not patriotic, but that is not treason. Still, athletes leaving their country to perform in the olympics for more prepared countries is not terribly uncommon.

It's more Betrayal, no matter who it is. He's either an American or not. Apparently he is not American, he should have never represented America in the games, he should be representing Mexico(and then go BACKTO Mexico)

:eusa_eh: ya can't have it both ways

He was born in Mexico, for fucks sake! Of course he is going to show some freaking loyalty to the country in which he was born! This is a big up over nothing. Get the fuck over it.

What about Sarah Attar, the Saudi American woman who chose to represent Saudi Arabia, despite being an American? I am yet to hear any low life attack her.

But he represented the US, was trained by the US, and won, for the US.

Treason? No. Dick Move? yes.

Sorry bout that,

1. He will suffer for this in America.
2. He has bitten off the hand that feeds him.
3. His right to find security within the border of America are limited.
4. Just shows just how stupid the Latin American people are.
5. He would do best for himself now, to move back to Mexico, true story.
6. Let him stay and prove me wrong, I'm okay with that!

Regards,

Just because he represented the US doesn't mean he can't still love and appreciate his birth country.
