Trans fat SUCKS!!!!!!1

The rate of heart diseases has sky rocketed since trans fats hit the market. If we took out transfats less people would die, or they would at least live longer. People ate plenty of butter in the 19th century and a heart attack was almost unheard of back then.

Not for people 65 and older. Since 1980 there has been a significant decrease in heart disease mortality.

Overall mortality from heart disease just from 1960 to 2004 is less than half.

In the 19th century when people where eating plenty of butter what was the life expectancy? What is the life expectancy now?

I'm not trying to make a point about butter, only that people are living longer despite any hysteria about trans fats. And everyone is going to die, regardless if they are eating butter or margarine.
