Time columnist and MSNBC host Toure could really be quite a humorist. Take this unintentional entry: "Do Democrats use racial code? No. The Democratic party is a racially diverse coalition. There would be no value to playing this game." I doubt he means hey, liberals don't use subtle codes: they blatantly accuse Republicans of killing, like in the NAACP's James Byrd ad.


This came in an article headlined "How To Read Political Racial Code." Apparently words like "welfare" and "crime" and "Muslim" and "socialist" are all hate-Obama code words, or as Toure puts it, "linguistic mustard gas" for our democracy:

The only problem is that when "we're all in this together", you have to all have a common goal and play within common rules. For liberals and progressives, that means that you will march to the orders that they give you; you will stand peaceably in the lines that they tell you to stand in; and you will believe and say what it is they tell you to believe in and say. They can't have 300 million people running around this country doing what they want to do, otherwise we will have chaos and confusion. There is no confusion in Europe?!?!

Well, I'm an American and I do not want to play by your rules. Hell, I may not even want to play. I refuse to stand in the lines you tell me to stand in; I refuse to believe in the happy handed crap that you want me to believe in; and I will say what ever I damn well want to say. Barry and his cronies are slowly but surely destroying this country and IF they get another 4 years, they will reduce this nation to another ALSO RAN, just like Britain.

So every talking head on TV can speak about racism, hateful speech, "fair share", and what ever else code words they want to use, because they are no better than the man who tried to sell us the Ford Edsel or the Yugo or the damn Chevy Volt.
