Tomatoes-tomatos

I thought about making a mango and habenero sauce (hella good on chicken) but shit.

I'm not man enough to tackle 45 of those little orange fuckers.

Put a few in some olive oil to flavor it.

Eat them raw like carrots. That's what I do with my cayenne peppers. Clears the nostrils up and its good for digestion!

I have been blessed with a dearth of tomatos this growing season.

I can only make so much 'sauce'. I can only freeze so many to use in stews when the weather gets chilly.

I tried my hand at making tomato soup, which turned out great!

I am at a loss as what to create with the rest of the tomatos.

Bear in mind that I still have a fairly large crop that needs to be harvested.

Ideas???

I just made a huge batch of spicy green tomato pickles. Woohoo... i love it on deep fried catfish.

Oven dry them..... easy and really good.

If you are really sick of them... call your nearest food pantry and see if they would like them.

Pickled green tomatoes are awesome, especially if you put a habenero pepper in each jar.

Y'all rock!
Sun dried tomatoes!
Do they really have to be sun dried? Or will oven dried work just as well?

We do it all the time. Takes about five hours or so to dry them for packaging.
