One of his earlier flicks was starring Darryl Hannah, called "Splash"..it was a bit weird, but I kind of liked it.

I was thinking of "Splash" when I saw Pirates 4 over the weekend. Not the same mermaids.

Turner and Hooch. Everyone asks if my Pit Bull is "Hooch". The dog was obviously the star of the film. Hanks played a remarkably sensitive supporting role.

He is not much of an actor because he plays the same good guy person in every movie.

Hanks' best performance was Forrest Gump. Hands-down.

    Hanks is so versatile!
He can play funny...as in Money Pit and Big, and he can be serious as in Philadelphia or The Green Mile or in-between, as in Forrest Gump :)
