Even if Obama wins I believe the senate is gone for the dems. I have had my doubts about Romney being willing to take it to Obama.

At the end of the night she joined us all for breakfast at Dennys then after dropping everyone else off she wanted to get a room with him. I dropped them off at the hotel. About 2 weeks later I was contacted by the police about a possible rape.

I am not a social conservative. I am philosophically (not theologically) opposed to abortion because logically life begins at conception and that babies should have the same rights not to be murdered or assaulted as your or I. That being said I don't think the federal government should have made a ruling about abortion and that it should be up to the states. That doesn't mean I can't voice my opinion about whether it is right or wrong.

Rape is violence and I am not personally opposed to women who have been raped getting an abortion but I am not in favor of it either. On the one hand her rights have been violated and it is through no fault of her own. On the other it's not the baby's fault either and two wrongs don't make a right. What if she was already pregnant and the baby died as a result of the rape? Should he be charged with murder? In my view yes, but in yours he would just go to jail for rape.
I have also heard cases where a pregnant woman was murdered and the person who did it was charged with 2 murders. You can't have it both ways. Either the baby is alive or its not.


I am not a woman and so I will never have to deal with this so I would leave this up to the woman to decide. I fall into the "illegal with exceptions" camp. If your life or possibly your sanity is at stake then I would leave the option there but I don't think you should be able to get an abortion just because you don't want to deal with the consequences of your irresponsible behavior.

We changed our diet and tried to do all the right things to make sure he was healthy. I sang to him and read to him. I went to every doctor's appointment and watched him grow.
