today is the anniversary of the start of the Korean War

Trashed the place from the Yalu to Pusan. Millions killed, and the end result was a stalemate.

North Korea has staggerd from disaster to disaster, including a famine that killed thousands, and may hundreds of thousands.

South Korea is one of the tigers eating out lunch.

It is a reminder of who Communists are and what they stand for.

I found out today that one uncle who was in the Korean War has dementia, and the other uncle who was also in the war doesn't have much longer to live.
Both great men, and my son is actually named after one of them.

I watch Korean media, and it is amazing how fast things are moving along there.

My mom remembered seeing Civil War Veterans parade on July 4th when she was a young un.
