The argument is not against education. It is against what many regard as education has come to be. No one is saying higher learning should be abolished. Many liberal arts institutions in America have devolved into categorized, idiosyncratic and divisive proselytizers of social change that ignore the normal progression of cultural evolution.

I'll agree to disagree that we need higher education, but the great lie out there is that you can only learn it in a college. Somehow it has been shown that while home-schooled kids are smarter than those who go to a public school, that magically, somehow suddenly, our institutions all then tell you that you can't learn anything on your own by reading a book, etc., even if that same book is the basis of a college course! And why not? Universities have an invested interest is seeing to it that all learning must GO THROUGH THEM------ at a very high cost, and once those people graduate after spending $100,000 to get their degree, they certainly don't want to admit another person could have learned more, better for a few hundred dollars on his own. So once the college types get to employment, they tend to all agree that you need a college DEGREE just like them (note: they don't say college level EDUCATION), ie: pay your dues the way they did, to even be considered for a job. Partly because most HR people are idiots who wouldn't know a qualified candidate if they tripped across them. So, like a union, like lawyers, doctors, plumbers and the like, the universities and colleges are self-preserving and stick together in making themselves necessary, much the way lawyers write laws so that you need lawyers.

The argument is not against education. It is against what many regard as education has come to be. No one is saying higher learning should be abolished. Many liberal arts institutions in America have devolved into categorized, idiosyncratic and divisive proselytizers of social change that ignore the normal progression of cultural evolution.

If women are not happy they are encouraged to blame men. If minority factions struggle in society they are recruited to attack the historical and established majority. More broadly the "poor" in society are factored into the ideological equation as a permanent fixture in a perpetually illegitimate civilization rigged against them by the "rich".

The concepts of personal responsibility and individual initiative have been replaced with academically fashionable theories of domination and victimhood. So they have essentially set out to rig the minds of the population into a Marxist model disguised as a brave new quest to alter the status quo by throwing the wrench of political correctness into the gears.

It's a mesmerizing strategy that conscripts vulnerable and receptive minds into crusading armies of representative groups by relinquishing their personhood as single human beings. It's the shopworn Marxist lie that if everyone else is responsible for your problems then you are responsible for nothing.

We need to rid our country of this poison by closing liberal arts colleges and replacing them with institutions that train bright students for useful jobs that strengthen our economies and improve our communities.

Conspicuous Consumption

Liberal Arts are leisure-class subjects. Liberal itself comes from a Latin word that implies being a slaveowner. The university is designed for those who live off an independent income. It is an obsolete aristocratic institution.

Why do Republicans get so mad when the facts are posted?

Commie infiltration of education was known going back to at least the 1950s. Children are being indoctrinated on what to think instead of being taught how to think and encouraged to use critical thinking. Bertrand Russell, a fabian socialist and globalist stated blatantly that this was the goal. He worked at the Frankfurt School.

One of the main ideas of the Frankfurt School was to exploit Freud's idea of 'pansexualism' - the search for pleasure, the exploitation of the differences between the sexes, the overthrowing of traditional relationships between men and women. To further their aims they would:

• attack the authority of the father, deny the specific roles of father and mother, and wrest away from families their rights as primary educators of their children.

• abolish differences in the education of boys and girls

• abolish all forms of male dominance - hence the presence of women in the armed forces

• declare women to be an 'oppressed class' and men as 'oppressors'


The School believed there were two types of revolution: (a) political and (b) cultural. Cultural revolution demolishes from within. 'Modern forms of subjection are marked by mildness'. They saw it as a long-term project and kept their sights clearly focused on the family, education, media, sex and popular culture.


THE PATRIARCHAL FAMILY


Following Karl Marx, the School stressed how the 'authoritarian personality' is a product of the patriarchal family--it was Marx who wrote so disparagingly about the idea of the family being the basic unit of society. All this prepared the way for the warfare against the masculine gender promoted by Marcuse under the guise of 'women's liberation.'


They proposed transforming our culture into a female-dominated one. In 1933, Wilhelm Reich, one of their members, wrote in The Mass Psychology of Fascism that matriarchy was the only genuine family type of 'natural society.'

Eric Fromm, left, was also an active advocate of matriarchal theory. Masculinity and femininity, he claimed, were not reflections of 'essential' sexual differences, as the Romantics had thought but were derived instead from differences in life functions, which were in part socially determined.'

The revolutionaries knew exactly what they wanted to do and how to do it. They have succeeded.


EDUCATION


Lord Bertrand Russell joined with the Frankfurt School in their effort at mass social engineering and spilled the beans in his 1951 book, The Impact of Science on Society. He wrote: 'Physiology and psychology afford fields for scientific technique which still await development.' The importance of mass psychology "has been enormously increased by the growth of modern methods of propaganda. Of these the most influential is what is called 'education. The social psychologists of the future will try different methods of producing an unshakable conviction that snow is black." Russell said education will affirm:

"First, that the influence of home is obstructive.

Second, that not much can be done unless indoctrination begins before the age of ten.

Third, that verses set to music and repeatedly intoned are very effective.

Fourth, that the opinion that snow is white must be held to show a morbid taste for eccentricity. But I anticipate. It is for future scientists to make these maxims precise and discover exactly how much it costs per head to make children believe that snow is black, and how much less it would cost to make them believe it is dark grey . When the technique has been perfected, every government that has been in charge of education for a generation will be able to control its subjects securely without the need of armies or policemen."


Writing in 1992 in Fidelio Magazine, [The Frankfurt School and Political Correctness] Michael Minnicino observed how the heirs of Marcuse and Adorno now completely dominate the universities, 'teaching their own students to replace reason with 'Politically Correct' ritual exercises.



There are very few theoretical books on arts, letters, or language which do not openly acknowledge their debt to the Frankfurt School. The witchhunt on today's campuses is merely the implementation of Marcuse's concept of 'repressive toleration'- 'tolerance for movements from the left, but intolerance for movements from the right'-enforced by the students of the Frankfurt School'.

From its very beginning, Communism has been the product of the university. Since that is an aristocratic institution, it reveals that Communism attracts those who feel they were born to rule and everybody else was born to be ruled.

The reason these richkids (you mislead us by calling them "Communists") hate the family is that their fathers neglected them in obsessive pursuit of money, sending them off to boarding schools or letting them stay at home and become Mamas' Boys.

All these degenerate social pursuits were financed by brats living off an allowance. If Easy Rider had presented reality, Captain "America" would have been like Peter Fonda, a rich kid whose Daddy bought him an expensive motorcycle and gave him a high enough allowance to wander around the country insulting people who had to work for a living. Those who executed him and Dennis Hopper would have been real Americans instead of stupid and violent lowlife.

The following is an excerpt from a memo I sent to an editor:


I want to commend your publication for being reasonably fair in presenting points of view that do not mesh with your publishers. The fact that aggressive editing is not used is a good thing that separates your paper from the information-age mobs that compete for the hearts and minds of a population in the throes of slipping cognition resulting from college campuses that have become de facto indoctrination factories.

Surely you must have observed that some of the most ill-informed, uninformed and mal-informed local citizens have college degrees. It’s not the kids today. Most are smarter than we were when we left high school but the unfortunate system that impoverishes many with ridiculous debt has been in place and trending toward worse for generations.

The faculties of these institutions are infested with strident, agenda-based crusading factions of political correctness that censor the dissent of the reasonable rank and file with threats of ostracization and economic ruin. The place of the “silenced majority” on college campuses has become to shut up, toe the line or hit the bricks.

The cause of political correctness and the effect of it are at odds with each other because throwing a wrench into the gears of a functioning society is not and never has been the best way to change it for the better. The notion that you can improve the way people think by cramming idiosyncratic, ideological dogma down the throats of impressionable young people is leading to a chaotic, discordant outcome replete with the book burning of revisionist history and the vandalism of historical structures.

Political correctness (Women’s Studies/Black History) on college campuses today is nearly identical to Mao Zedong’s Cultural Revolution beginning in 1966. It is designed to foment violence between groups and destroy the traditional foundations of society by creating prowling hordes of Red-Guard gangs attacking public venues and defacing time-honored historical monuments.

But the real damage is done to the quality of people leaving college. Many can barely read the contents of a restaurant menu or compose anything in writing that would pass as a respectable grocery list. If you communicate by setting businesses ablaze, smashing windows, spitting in the face of police and kicking elderly people at political rallies you don’t need these skills.

We need to close most of the liberal arts colleges in America and start over. People should be trained to be economically independent and that’s it.
