Time To Play 'Guess The Motive!'

BULLDOG, you got your 3.3 Million Muslims in the USA number from Pew Research right? Did you bother to look at who gave you that number?

Meet Besheer Mohammad!

Besheer Mohamed is a senior researcher focusing on religion at Pew Research Center.

Yep. He's a Muslim, so in your world that makes him a terrorist.............idiot.

While in the real world, it's utterly irrelevant. He was diagnosed with paranoid schitzophrenia, and likely not taking medication.

Yes. The man was obviously suffering from severe mental problems. My remark was in reference to the previous poster who pointed out that a senior researcher at the Pew Research Center was a Muslim, as if that was supposed to make all of their reports questionable.
I'm glad you brought that up because we were discussing the population of Muslims in the USA not Europe. We were also discussing how you arrived at the number of 3.3 million Muslims in America and that the man who provided the numbers for that particular research was in fact, a Muslim. Again the entire discussion was about Muslim immigration to America so why was this thread moved to the Europe forum?

No Idea about the move, but why do you think the Pew Research Center is not valid just because a Muslim works there. Is the Pew Research Center a terrorist organization too?

EVERYBODY who takes an axe and starts hacking up people who he doesn't even know is Crazy...you Pinheads are quick enough to get that...but, in your indiscriminate whoring for votes...you conveniently fail to notice that all the Crazy people who hack up innocent people are Muslims...Barbarians.

Minds accessible to reason understand that something is going on besides mere insanity. I am reduced to the meloncoly necessity of concluding that you are an ignoramus; that, or your mind is lacerated by partisan interest--likely Marx. Or both.

I don't know about votes. That really has nothing to do with it. Your post doesn't make a lot of sense.

Was the man who shot up the Aurora theatre mentally ill?
What about the man who shot Gabby Giffords?
Or the man who shot up Sandy Hook?

Honestly, why is it so hard for you to comprehend that anyone can suffer from mental illness?

You know very well that there is a rule that there are exceptions to every rule. You have picked up the exceptions and close your eyes to the Reality.

What is obvious to all but the willingly blind is that when somebody starts hacking up people he doesn't know with an axe...it is almost certain to be a lunatic Muslim...way way way out of line for the ratio that would be expected from the population...which means that the Barbaric Culture produced by the sick Political Dogma that is Islam, has got something to do with it.

It also appears that Lunacy, though in a less violent way....infects Liberal Loons disproportionately. You ought to be able to see that, as an example, when you look in the mirror.

You had no right to move this thread to Europe. You did it to kill the thread, though it obviously applies to matters very serious to the debate on immigration in America.

Nobody as intensely Partisan as you, including me, is fit to be a Moderator.

Great, well run board...until you came along. You should be without power...then you can rave like Lahkota and it won't do any harm.

It took place in Europe. Not the US. It has nothing to do with US Politics. Any further questions - PM me.

I question his honesty and question whether or not he was able to be neutral about his discovery (was he asked to lower the number by someone outside of Pew Research Center?). He claims his research finds 3.3 million Muslims in America total? I disagree with that number. It seems extremely low. Put a zero behind the 3 (30.3 million) and I believe he'd be a lot closer, BULLDOG. I would suggest you do your own research and not rely on that singular source for the answer.

Bottom line the vetting process for Muslims immigrating to the United States (which is what we are talking about here) needs to be improved. What we have now simply is not working if you consider the case Political Chic presented in the OP. It's endangering the lives of Americans. I know you disagree with Trump's temporary ban on Muslims coming from certain countries (until they could figure out what is going on) but if he didn't do it and something happened - he'd never hear the end of it. Nor should he. He's the president and part of his job is to make sure this country is safe from unnecessary threats.

Who, outside of the Pew Research Center asked him to lower that number, and how did you find out about that? You'v made it clear that you disagree with his number, but you haven't given credible reason why. An offhand remark in 2004, and statements that the number could be as high as 7 times that much are supported by any facts and not credible. The first thing that you and that fool should figure out is that no terrorist attacks in the US from those countries have occurred. You are the victim of more right wing fake news, and you don't even care when it is shown to you.

Read it again, BULLDOG. I asked a question. I didn't make a statement. I asked, Was he asked by someone outside of Pew Research to lower the number? A question is a question. Don't read into it what isn't there. On the matter of numbers, I mentioned Don Richardson's book and Ariana Fallaci's book, The rage and the pride. Both books were written many years ago. So how do numbers go down and not up when we are hearing about immigrants coming here - not leaving? I feel it is a valid question. Perhaps you could read their books. That is where I got my information from. Unless a journalist did a book review on their books I have no idea if they ever published their research.

I did look up some numbers from an article written in 2009. According to this news source the number of Muslims in the USA in 2009 was 6 million Muslims (and that too is far too low) yet Basheer Mohammad of Pew Research claims there were 3.3 million in 2015. Correct?

Look at this:
America's Muslims after 9/11

America's Muslims after 9/11
Last Updated: October 31, 2009 3:35 PM

The 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States have had a worldwide impact. The effect on the Islamic world has been especially complex because the terrorists were Muslims.

The United States has an estimated six million Muslims. More than half of them are Arabs. Muslims living in this country are more educated and tend to have higher incomes than average Americans. Unlike Muslim minorities in Europe, American Muslims are generally more assimilated into mainstream society.

When terrorists struck New York and Washington five years ago, U.S. Muslims were as shocked and horrified as other Americans. But in addition to coping with terror, many Muslims say they had to deal with the pain of being shunned by their fellow Americans.
"You would walk down the street and you could be physically attacked," says Nidal Ibrahim is Executive Director of the Arab-American Institute in Washington.

_________
So we see that no one argued the number was six million Muslims living in the USA in 2009. The Muslim interviewed, Nidal Ibrahim was an executive director of the Arab - American Institute. He didn't disagree with the number reported (6 million) for the story, did he?

So now six years later half the Muslims in America left? No. The Muslim immigration to America has continued and increased. It didn't decrease. You see my point? You can't say you've got 6 million Muslims in the USA verified in 2009 and claim there are 3.3 Million living here in 2015 (6 years later). As I said before something doesn't add up.

Thanks for asking. Goodnight.

No indication that Nidal Ibrahim was asked about how many Muslims were in the US, or that he even knew the Muslim population was even going to be mentioned in the article. The unnamed author simply made that statement before he included a Ibrahim quote. I have no doubt the author, whoever he might have been, might have believed that was an accurate number, there is no indication of where he got it. You are pathetically grabbing at straws.

"You would walk down the street and you could be physically attacked," says Nidal Ibrahim is Executive Director of the Arab-American Institute in Washington.

Oh come on.... I want real proof of these claims. I want hard documented evidence.

There are 6 Million Muslims in this country, according to this.

So how many examples of "muslim walking down the street is attacked!" happened as a ratio to the 6 million in the country. 10%? 5%? 2.5%? 1%? 0.1%? 0.000005%?

My company just had a tour by executives from Wendy's. One of them was wearing a hijab. You should have the petrified look of object terror in her eyes. At least you should have if there was anything like this idiotic claim by moronic muslims and left-wing idiots claiming we're still in the 1800s lynching people and burning crosses.

No, she seemed rather happy in her position as an executive of a major corporation. And apparently the 'islamophobia' memo didn't reach Wendy's given they promoted her to such a position.

Welcome back!
Now for our next round of "Guess The Motive!"

"Australian Teacher Quits After Islamic Students Threaten to Behead Her

Teachers at a primary school in Sydney, Australia have been threatened with beheading and other violence from young Islamic students, prompting one of them to quit her job.

Students as young as those in Year 5, according to the Daily Telegraph, are making the violent threats and pressuring others to read the Koran at Punchbowl Public School in Sydney.

Documents given to the newspaper allege that three staff members have taken a leave of absence owing to stress, received counselling and been awarded compensation...."
Australian Teacher Quits After Islamic Students Threaten to Behead Her

OK....here's that clue:
"... after bullying from Islamic students."

Now for a real mystery....

Four were shot, and 10 injured at the Toqueville French school....

"A teenager boy has been arrested after three people were shot in an attack on a school in Grasse, southern France.

Police detained the 17-year-old student at the Lycee Alexis de Tocqueville, where the headmaster was among those shot.

He was armed with a rifle, a revolver, a pistol and grenades according to local newspaper Le Dauphiné Libéré."
Shooting attack at French school leaves several injured

OK.....ready to play "Guess The Motive"???

Clue #1
No name or identification of the perpetrator have been released.
Seen that before?

Clue #2. "...was not believed to be terror-related."

Clue #3.
"Other pupils said the suspect was known for watching "strange videos" online, including battle footage and executions."

Clue #4
"Latest Survey Finds 25% of French Teenagers Are Muslims"
Study Finds 25% of French Teenagers Are Muslims

Isn't this exciting????

"Guess The Motive"
"Police in Paris have launched an investigation after two men, a father and his son, were found with their throats slit in the French capital. Another son has been arrested in connection with the murders and has since been transferred to a secure psychiatric unit, reports say.
A man was arrested in Paris on Friday suspected of slitting the throats of his father and brother at the entrance to a building in the capital's trendy 11th district, police sources told AFP."
Man held after his father and brother found with throats slit in Paris

Clue #1
Some witnesses said the suspect made remarks "linked to radical Islam" but the police urged caution, saying the killer's motives were unknown.

Clue #2
Newspaper Le Figaro cited a police source who said the knifeman shouted "Allahu Akbar" ('God is greatest', in Arabic).

Clue #3
"...man standing beside him, dressed in a white djellaba (loose-fitting tunic worn by some Muslims). He fell to his knees and prayed...."

Yet another tough one to figure out.

In order to save our contestants from unnecessary consideration....there is no need to "Guess The Motive" in this case:

"'I shot the police': Text message sent by 'Radicalised Muslim' who shot at cops before grabbing an officer's gun at Paris Orly airport and being killed as Kate and William met French terror victims

Less than two hours earlier he had shot a female police officer in the head in a northern Paris suburb after being stopped for speeding.

The Paris prosecutors' office said he was suspected of having terror links....
....a Tunisian background. He was armed with a shotgun when he opened fire on police."

Our....'competition'....will continue shortly.
You can bet on it.

Another day, another horrendous attack.....

"UK Parliament Attack: Alleged Assailant Shot Dead, Dozen Injured"
UK Parliament Attack: Alleged Assailant Shot Dead, Dozen Injured

Time to play.....

"Guess The Motive"!!!!

Clue #1
BBC reports Wednesday’s incidents as two separate ones—car on Westminster Bridge and attacker in UK Parliament grounds.
Witnesses said a vehicle struck several people on the bridge, and photos showed a car plowed into railings

Clue #2
....also reports of further violent incidents in the Palace of Westminster, confirmation from the police awaited: lawmaker. (Reuters)
Assailant who stabbed policeman inside UK parliament has been shot,

Clue #3
Wednesday also marks the one year anniversary of the Brussels bombings.

Gun control succeeds again! Thankfully the police officer was completely unarmed, and thus was stabbed to death by the armed attacker!

In the US, he might have shot the attacker dead, and that would be horrible, and an example of our horrible gun culture. And we don't want our police shooting dead black men!

So thankfully the far more civil UK culture did not allow their police officer Keith Palmer, 48, Husband and Father, to have a gun.

Now that he's dead, I'm sure his widow and kids will be glad he wasn't a violent American cop.

Another victory for the left-wing gun-control people! Let's have a cop protest march over his grave!

.... left-wing = mental illness.
