I remember a time when Time magazine was a well respected publication, Jim. What they've become now is sad. "White Nationalism" is the left's new "Russian Collusion"...the reason they say they should be given political power to "save" America! We have an issue with mental health in this country. A generation of children raised on drugs are now adults and that policy of doping our children when they are in school is now coming home to roost. Trump has NOTHING to do with that problem!

No, America is not "Losing the Battle Against White Nationalist Terrorism" - that's still more hysterical bullshit.

If anything is lost, it's the faculty to put things into proper perspective. So, is White nationalism on the rise? No doubt. Are terrorist attacks by White supremacists on the rise. Sure. Is America in danger because of this? Risible.

Yes, many more people will die because the Feds are not looking into this properly, likely because lawmakers fear backlash emerging from the broad and deep White supremacist undercurrent in U.S. society. Yes, race relations are going to deteriorate because of that. Yes, it's all complicated. But it's reversible, once enough of the population has enough, and once Representatives stiffen their spine. There is no terrorist organization that can bring down the U.S. If anything, a majority of Americans losing their minds might be able to do this, and the masses falling for the orange pied piper give rise to some real worries. Hysterical hyperventilation over "eaten from within" doesn't help. At all.

There's a sharp divide between the White Nationalist and White Supremacy movements. They're very distinct from each other and not on friendly terms these days.

Both are growing not because of Trump's rhetoric but because his rhetoric on the issue of immigration, illegal entry, and White replacement is just that -- talk without substantive action. Support for Trump has diminished greatly among those in both groups in large part because he's NOT doing anything to reverse the demographic trend that will make Whites a minority in the US soon.

The likelihood that the recent shootings aren't psy-ops is pretty slim but, on the assumption that the shooters were independent actors as reported, they acted not on what Trump says but on what he isn't doing. Blame could be placed on Trump (though the real blame is always on the shooter) in that he raised hopes that government would do something about the matter and then didn't follow through, leading a few on the edge of sanity to take things into their own hands.
