All they will say is how dare Israel defend herself. The silent majority in Europe that is sick of Muslin biligerents will be applauding Israel, but don't have the microphone to express it. There will be calls for boycotts that will be ignored. The so called academics will get on their high-horses. Turkey will saber raddle while they persecute Cyprus, Kurds, Christians and deny the Armenian holocaust. Arabs and Persians will make threats, but do nothing. European leaders will call for restraint (like they do with Syria) but won't mean it. Obama will flounder like he usu does!

In the end your PR battle will be lost no matter what you do, so WIN the military battle. Every Hamas installation civilian or military should be destroyed. Go after Hamas fighter and try to minimize civilians, but collateral damage is acceptable. This is exactly the mindset of the Gaza terrorists. They believe that if they can sufficiently terrorize Israelis, the Israeli government will think twice before taking action against them. The problem with Cast Lead was that it tried to establish deterrence with a show of force that was not aimed at achieving any particular military or political objective. This might work if you are fighting a nation, but not when the enemy is a cluster of fanatical terrorist gangs.

Israel needs to do what no one wants to do, reoccupy Gaza, seal the border with Egypt, blow up all the tunnels, establish fortified checkpoints and road blocks and do a house to house grid search for weapons and personnel until all the leaders of all the terrorist gangs are either captured or dead and all the weapons have been destroyed and to continue this policy until there is absolute quiet in southern Israel whether it takes weeks or months or years.

It is intolerable for the Israeli government to allow these racist hate crimes emanating from Gaza to continue.
