We took a drive up to the University of Florida in Gainesville today and spotted this OLD Live Oak tree!

I can NOT explain how big the trunk of this live oak really was....even the pictures of it, do not do it justice.... I finally had my parents stand in front of it for a picture to give some perspective to its size....it was bigger than the cars in the parking lot near it.... It had to be at least 500 years old!

I had no idea dad's stomach was so BIG!!!! Guess i have been just looking at his face since i've been here or from behind, trying to catch up with him.....he really looks so much skinnier from behind! (if ONLY I could say such, about my own view from the rear!)

And who knows what mom was looking at????? AT LEAST her eyes were not shut, like they usually are....in most pics!!! hahahaha!
