I'm more Libertarian than anything else, it seems the ones really supporting this have been military members and constitutional conservatives. I read a survey somewhere that suggested that marines and other branches of the military scored highest on Libertarian scale when trying to determine their political philosophy with a series of questions. Trumps rejection of political correctness and focusing on jobs is a big boon which will make him popular with many. A strong principled stance on the world stage doesn't hurt either. Of course, the next supreme court should be chosen to ensure the Constitution is protected, defended and embraced.

You saw how arrogant the Democrats were before and during this campaign, it was impossible to ignore, which is why they were the most devastated when they lost ("this is impossible!"). Do not follow the same path. You are only as popular as your successes. If Trump does what he says he will, he will get 8 years, if he veers off or loses the courage, he will be out in four, the GOP punished in the mid terms. The Democrats will be promising the world to the Rust Belt in four years, guaranteed, he cannot count on those votes again unless he delivers.

Momentum in politics is short lived. As long as socialism doesn't take over America, you at least have a fighting chance.
