"Those who beat their swords into plough shares shall plough for those who don't."

Not sure I am following this discussion, but Biblical references often raise the question of individual vs. group actions and responsibilities. For example, it may be an ideal for an individual to "turn the other cheek," but not allowing the police to protect others is an entirely different matter. In the case of "beating swords into plough shares," isn't that a reference to the Second Coming (when lions will lie down with lambs) rather than a current political prescription?
