This really pisses me off

The only one claiming something is wrong with the boy is the lunatic that sent him on a plane half way around the world equiped with only a note.

Some of you really need to get a grip.

I don't think the entire story is known at this point.
I already know enough.

Only a moron would put a child on a plane equiped with only a note.

The boy's condition is irrelivent to that point.

Its even MORE irrisponsible to do what this ass did if the boy has some yet to be determined mental issues.

I don't know if their is a law that applies here, but endangering the welfare of a child is the first thing that comes to mind, and that bitch should be inside a cell pronto.

I agree that she shouldn't have sent him back alone, although the adoptive mother did make arrangements for him when his plane landed and informed the flight attendants that he was traveling as an unaccompanied minor. Not sure that that would be considered endangering his welfare . . . .I've read of parents sending their kids alone on planes with someone meeting them at the end of the flight.

i wonder how many children are "returned" to the us adoption agencies...where is the outrage...

Nancy Hansen outlined for CNN the process she followed after she decided Justin must go back to Russia.

When the lawyer she found online advised her the adoption could be reversed, Hansen booked the flight and paid the fee for a steward to escort Justin through the airport, she said.

She hired a driver in Moscow she found online to pick the child up from the Moscow airport, she said. She found "safe references" for the driver online, she said.

She then prepared a letter for Justin to present to Russian officials, which included a photo of the driver, whom she identified as "Arthur," she said.

Justin "had never been happier" than when he boarded the plane for Moscow, she said.

Grandmother: Adopted boy sent back to Russia was violent - CNN.com

it was not 'that bitch' that put him on the plane...it was 'that bitch's" mother....

she did more than just put him on a plane

From the article:

The Seattle-based agency which Hansen said her daughter used to coordinate the adoption said it found out about Justin's return only Friday.

I wonder why didn't they (the mom/grandmom) contact the agency rather than going the on-line lawyer route?

Handing a 7 year old a note is NOT 'making arangements.'

But that isn't what she did. Read the article bones linked to.

I did read it.

The GRANDMOTHER claims that her daughter made arrangements 'online' for the boy to be escorted. How exactly do you contact someone in Russia to do that?

BULLSHIT.

Stinks of trying to cover up what was done.

I don't know but the boy was met at the airport and the flight attendant was informed that he was traveling as an unaccompanied minor and from what I've read it seems as if she was fairly thorough in making sure he got back safely.

I don't understand why the woman didn't contact the agency who dealt with the adoption rather than going this route. I get the impression that this was all done rather quickly (I don't know if it was or not). If the problems/threats/behavior that the mother/grandmother said this kid displayed are true . . . did they take this course of action because they were afraid he might hurt them . . . or worse? Again, I don't know and I don't think the whole story has been told.

And so the child she promised to care for as a parent was shipped back to the factory with a defective sticker on it?

A REAL parent tries to deal with a problem, not looks for a do-over.

If the boy was this dangerous holy terror, you take him to child protective services or the many other places the USA has of dealing with this kind of thing, you don't send him to Russia with a fucking note.

It takes a real lying POS to say they feel threatened by a 7 year old.

Had she done any of these things? Was the adoption final? Again, I don't know the answers and don't believe the entire story has been told.

Your last sentence . . . . like I said before until you've walked a mile in those shoes you cannot understand.

She could have just bagged him up and thrown him in a river......:eusa_whistle:

Had she done any of these things?
Obviously not.

Was the adoption final?
Everyone lets you take a child 18.000 miles for a 'try out.'

Again, I don't know the answers and don't believe the entire story has been told.
Enough of it has.

I thought I had read that the adoption hadn't been finalized; I may have misread that.

Have you walked in those shoes? I have.

It's easy to say what you (collective you) would do in such a situation, and perhaps what you say you'd do is exactly what you would do. Maybe not. Just because you (collective you) may have the emotional, physical, and mental strength to deal with whatever is presented doesn't mean that everyone does.

I'm not condoning what this mother did . . . I'm not judging her either.

Yeah, too bad I never committed to it, conned the russians into it agreed to doing it, before I sent the little bastrad packing now isn't it.

The bitch should be jailed for the worthless piece of shit she is.

Maybe you should be, because these IS NO JUSTIFIABLE REASON FOR DOING IT.

You've never walked in those shoes, have you?
No, I never abandoned a child I was responsible for.

That's not what I meant . . . . and you know it.

I used to think exactly the same way you do, I was on that road and I was damn happy on it. Then my son was born and I got to travel a different road. I can see both sides of this . . . . having been on both sides of it. All I can say is . . . you don't know what you don't know.

Its EXACTLY what she did.

Some things there is no defense for.

this is one of those things.

for those of you ...all filled with human compassion for this kids.....and all....adopt him...see how you sleep at night with this child in your home?

you can feel sympathy for the kid....how about some empathy for the woman living in fear of her life?

I see your point, but I think she should have been a bit more responsible than a plane ticket and a letter.

Up topic there is complaint about the process here. Really, both sides to this transaction should have done more due dillegence.

The poor kid (Sociopath he may very well be) should not be turned into a shuttlecock for a round of bureaucratic badminton.
