He's proposing a tax that would personally cost him $385 million. Add the $600 million he will spend to run and this adds up to almost $1 Billion out of pocket to become President. I think he's willing to sacrafice because he sincerely wants to help save the country. As to the rich who would oppose his tax proposal, Trump doesn't need them.

These guys just keep proving the point that the GOP loves eating its own.
