This place will be a colossal bore on wednesday

When did Kucinich try on impeachment of Obama? The man is a total liberal. That makes no sense.
Go back to your bedroom and retrieve your brain. You left it on your pillow.

She's right.

Kucinich changed his position on Obama's HC plan.

He's back in the camp of the moderate Dems.

I'd put the possibility of Kucinich calling for Obama's impeachment right up there with Geroge Bush Senior calling for the trial of his son for crimes against humanity while he was POTUS.

The man is my Congressman. I think it's a hoot Si think she knows more'n me about my own fucking back yard.

Nonsense. Absolute fantasy.

There could be a CALL for impeachment -- theoretically -- but hearings? Not a chance.

I find it amusing you tea baggers are so anxious to play at being Little Mary Sunshine about this. You ain't fooling a soul.

Now, I'll admit, I haven't looked into the procedure involved in impeachment but yes, there'll be some sort of move that-a-way almost immediately. Or are you suggesting they will forego an opportunity to harrass, embarrass and possibly impeach Obama?

Riiiiight. I'll give you the same odds as I offered DiveCon, but if you lay down over $5, I'll have to find someone to take the bank.

:blahblah:

You fake Republicans are more amusing than the ones you call Tea Party-ers.

(I know you used the other term, but I reject the effort by you libs, so I choose to correct it and you).

I guarantee you that once again you are wrong.

The move to impeach President Obama cannot rest on anything done so far, since nothing he has done so far amounts to a high crime or misdemeanor.

You can run around like Chicken Little all you want, Maddy. But the fact is, your alarmist shrieking is quite baseless.

By the way, I have not earned the handle "Tea Party-er." Yet.

Finally, you are waffling on your "bet" already. I didn't say ANYTHING about harassing him. I merely denied that -- based on anything so far -- there will be ANY move to impeach President Obama. I guarantee you that (unless something solid suddenly gets revealed with quality evidence), there will be absolutely no impeachment hearings undertaken in the soon to be GOP controlled House.

It's my GOP, Liability. I was here first. Mebbe we should arm wrestle for it?

I see Obama being vulnerable a la DOI and the BP Oil Spill, especially the installation of Feinberg as the BP Claims Facility Czar. We still have public corruption laws in this country.

I also see him vulnerable a la DOJ, for failing to enforce our immigration laws, for muscling local voting registrars into allowing non-citizens to vote and possibly -- mebbe -- for stepping off the investigation of NBP voter intimidation in 2008

And (a) I have not studied on the whole thing to dream up even more bases; (b) I believe impeaching Obama would be terribly harmful to the US.

Nonetheless, I think it will be tried, and I am still accepting bets.

You bet it's your GOP (if, unlike JokeyFakey, you actually are a member of the Republican Party). It sure as hell ain't mine.

I am not a member of the GOP, I am proud to say.

The side-show story of your expressed concern over the possibility of the impeachment of President Obama is silly. As I told you, it is simply not going to happen.

The RepubliCON$ are going to FLOP!

I can't wait!

LoL!!

Malcolm Ex-Lax! How the fuck are ya, mah brutha?

You happen to be full of shit.

The Republicans are not going to "flop."

This midterm Election is a Democrat belly-flop waiting to happen.

Total abject FAIL by President Obama and the liberals in Washington!

Once the GOP (aided by Tea Party backed Members of Congress and by the very watchful and determined oversight of folks such as the rank and file Tea Party faithful) takes back the House from the atrocious liberal Democratics, the GOP will not fail or the Congress-critters who fail to perform to spec will get tossed out like garbage.

You tools like to mock Christine O'Donnell. But that lady has already helped achieve something very important. She has helped to deliver the message. The same behavior that helped cause the near fatal disaster we are confronting as a Republic will no longer be tolerated.

Do you think maybe Castle has taken the point? He will not be alone.

Well just look at it this way, once the election has ended it gives all those in the prediction business two years to start on the 2012 election. To fill in the gaps , I'm sure we can all come up with something to discuss till then, as there never seems to be a shortage of things to debate on here.

I think that depends very much on how people define the word 'debate'. I have yet to see a debate on this forum.

But it's fun.

I am having a get together....I'll be online I am sure. what will be will be....we can exhale wed. morning, and of course some will be in full hyperventilation mode:lol:

IMHO, a Republican win will be nothing to celebrate.

The liberals celebrated, gloated, and boasted...and even with a super majority only managed to eek out a garbage heathcare bill and a swift boot out the door.

Save the celebration for the day the Republicans do what we sent them there to do...reduce the size of government, curb spending, reduce the deficit, begin fixing the abominable healthcare debacle and reach across the aisle when possible while not allowing themselves to be dragged to the other side.

We MUST begin repairing this ideological divide where we can...but not by compromising our principles.

"A house divided against itself cannot stand." *

Contrary to popular belief, regular Democrats can have reasonable ideas, and we should embrace those ideas...not the liberal and progressive socialistic agenda, but the grassroots Democrats that want government to be about looking out for the little guy as well as business.

Pull those Democrats from the Democratic Party and leave the socialists to redistribute the donkey any way they see fit.

this place is going to be exciting.

You will have all those right wingers crowing about their "mandate" from the American people. Then all those ridiculous right wingers will hit Washington. They will fuck up the country worse than Bush. Then they will have to eat piles of "crow".

The next two years are going to be hilarious.

What is more funny than anti intellectuals who hate education working to solve complex problems? Then they end up crying and wailing like Bush, "It's really, really hard".

There are whackos on all sides, McKinney, Wexler, Kuchinich all attempted to bring impeachment charges against Bush, often exciting the netroots. Where did those attempts go? Same place right netroots exciting attempts against Obama will go.

Seriously, if the new Congress goes all witch hunt, they'll be seeing the other side of the door in 2012. While they may not get through all attempts to cut government size and costs under control in the next two years, they better damn well be focusing on just that.

When did Kucinich try on impeachment of Obama? The man is a total liberal. That makes no sense.
you dont read for comprehension
read her post again, and read ALL of it

I asked you this in another thread which you abandoned...

Who will try to impeach 0bama?

BTW, gridlock is a good thing when YOUR heroes haven't learned to put away the checkbook...

My heroes? Gridlock does nothing to solve this nation's problems either. I think I saw this movie when I rented it. It came out in '94, the remake is never good as the original, doesn't help that the original wasn't that good in the first place.

As for who will try to impeach Obama, the GOP of course.

Three Fingers of Politics Blog Archive Bachmann: Subpoenas and Hearings Are Coming in 2011

According to Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., the House Republicans should exercise their power to subpoena and hold continuous hearings. Speaking to a gathering for the GOP Youth Convention on July 22 in Washington, D.C., she emphasized this point.

“Oh, I think that’s all we should do,” Bachmann said. “I think that all we should do is issue subpoenas and have one hearing after another. And expose all the nonsense that is going on. And it’s very important when we come back that we have constitutional conservative leadership because the American people’s patience is about this big.”

I read the link modbert...no where does it contain the word impeachment....:eusa_eh:

hearings? yea so? I think a case could be made the bruahaha for instance over at the DOJ requires a hearing.
