the husband found out about it, and called the cops. Who arrested the lovebirds and they were sentenced to four months in jail for adultery.

How long was the husband in jail for spousal abuse? Pick a whole number less than one.

the rest of the world is so very different.

One of the really odd attitudes in the orient is that you don't have lawyers and courts take care of traffic disputes. You argue and negotiate the settlement right there in the middle of the road.

Yes, stereotypes are bad, but Chinese/Taiwanese truly are horrendous drivers.
