This is that special sort of insanity that could only come from the left. There is so much wrong with this on so many levels, it’s hard to know where to begin.

New York City is considering a measure called The Right to Disconnect Bill, which would fine employers for contacting employees outside work hours.

First of all, who is the government to interfere with the private agreement between employers and employees? Second, if a person didn’t want to be contacted after hours, they wouldn’t have accepted that particular job. Third, if it has become too much, they can leave any time they want. Fourth, this is going to have a devastating affect on business, public services, healthcare, and more. Physicians and nurses have on-call. Now their services won’t be available because it will be illegal for their employers to contact them? What about S.W.A.T. teams and other emergency services? Pure progressive ignorance.
