Romney will lose because he doesn't inspire voters and lacks charisma. Most demographic groups consider him a lack luster candidate, particularly, women voters, minorities, and the working poor. Conservatives, who dominate the party, don't like him.

Incumbents simply do not lose elections to boring candidates, like Romney. The only incumbents that have lost in the last hundred years, Hoover, Ford, Carter and H.W. Bush, all lost to very charismatic candidates who inspired voters.

Obama will lose because he has given us $5,000,000,000,000 new debt in 3 years, $1,500,000,000,000 deficits as far as the eye can see, inflation, $5 gas, housing markets off 40%, record numbers of Americans on public assistance, worthless U.S. $, 40,000,000+ unemployed, Solyndra, union bailouts, Wall Street bailouts, U.S. global competitiveness down 4 positions, health insurance costs up 23%, etc.

People vote for people they like even thou they may not agree with all their policies. Obama has always been popular, more so than most of his policies. Romney on the other hand does not connect well with voters, even those in his own party.

Obama may have run up the debt but so have most of his predecessors. The public is well aware that the recession, which began under Bush was the worst since the great depression. Since the depth of the recession, employment is up 2.3 million, the stock market has more than doubled, and industrial production is up 15%. Romney's message that Obama spent to much on the recovery is not going to fly with voters.
