Unarmed protesters who have the nerve to protest against the state are being treated like criminals. Now, the Dems here were okay with all the BLM protesters when they were actually attacking people, burning down neighborhoods and looting. But in socialist countries, you can't even protest.
The left would have had a collective meltdown if police had gone after the violent rioters in Baltimore and other places here but won't say a word about some leftist piece of shit sending heavily armed police to attack those who protest against him.
This is how it always happens when some leftist tyrant gets powers. Don't dare go against the state or there is hell to pay.

In reading the second part of the passage from the Daily Mail, the first thing the description of how French police are treating people reminded me of was the German gestapo of Adolf Hitler’s National Socialist Geman Wrokers’ Party, otherwise known as the Nazis. It's especially more comparable when you consider that French citizens are unarmed and, therefore, couldn't possibly defend themselves against militarized police with guns.
“The CRS [general reserve of the French National Police] with the guns were wearing riot control helmets and body armour – they were not a specialised firearms unit,” Yellow Vest protester Gilles Caron said. “Their job was simply to threaten us with lethal weapons in a manner which is very troubling. We deserve some explanations.”
At the trajectory this conflict is currently at, things seemingly will get worse before they get better. Macron knows his back is against the wall, so the only thing a rat knows how to do when trapped is attempt to chew their way out without regard to what they’re chewing through."
