By simply refusing, or being disabled from unifying around its principles with free speech and stand together to demand an acountable government.

It's like we completely forgot the Magna Carta and the accountability we are due according to clause #61. Something we would call now governmental duty liability.

I've see the rule of law leaving, the Constitution seriously compromised, the courts corrupted, government infiltrated. Parasitic patterns common in private and public sectors, accepted. Life cheapens fear increases and as long as the temporary safety and comfort is there it's all deemed okay by Americans. Or, none of it matters, "not my business" is often the position taken while the increasing dependence on foriegn oil is ignored. The notion of sustainability abandoned for any practical purpose. The granchildren will have to figure it out on their own, this generation is too corrupted.

That is where the cognitive distortions come in. The generalizatons taught during prime time sitcoms and fantasy adventure shows that too many generations came to think as real. Or ways of thinking that just aren't taking into account what or where the affluence we think we have came from. The whole time the face to face communication decreasing and isolation increasing. Welfare takes over roles in families and becomes an enabler and children learn to be dependent on government for their needs, not what their needs are or how to meet them.
More electronic media and communication toys to keep us from talking with the people around us keep arriving on the scene. Corporations producing anything and everything to keep people from having meaningful comunications within their constitutencies or make divisions and petty differences taught over part of a lifetime with social conditioning. Cheaper than ever from China but there is hardly a faucet in the nation connected to a public water supply that isn't loaded with cloramine and perhaps floride.

We cannot recognize and collectively define the principles of our Constitution or apply them to unity functional to maintaining the Constitutonality of our government or purifying the groups with the principles it stands for that we might form to protect it with free speech creating an understanding, that can create; forgiveneess, tolerence, acceptence, respect, trust, friendship and love, protecting life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

So ... Obama trying to silence opposition is somehow honoring free speech?

Everything politically after the 2000 election is insurrection, it hasn't stopped. It's just slow and sneaky. Can we agree on that even if the Consitution seems far from your mind in a media distracted trance.

I don't pay much attention to what the "media" says, just to what they are doing. ;)

Well they do it with what they say and they are doing it with you if you listen.

You only think about what you know. If you learn what you know from media, media is controlling your mind.

My point is, "are we doing America?" as in "principles of Constitution" "and rule of law." Something media cannot do for us and if we let them, they do it with what they say and they are doing it with you if you listen.

As we can see, the result is a descent into tyranny, poverty and slavery.

we lost the constitution a long time ago!!!

it is just a historical relic our lawmakers pass by on their way to their offices everyday but never read......

most laws passed by congress are in direct violation of the constitution.....

It needs to be re-written....it was originally written by rich white slave owners trying to protect themselves from government....the reality is that it is the government that needs protection......you can trace the laws passed through congress back to lobbyist money almost without exception.......we do need a change in this country and the first thing that really needs to be changed is the lobbying laws!!!!!!

The infiltrators of the government and usurpers of the Constitution love you for sharing your reason to give up and see your grandchildrens heritage of freedom turn to slavery.

Natural law, biology, our instincts, the best of them underlies its orgins in the Magna Carta. Lose the Constitution, you lose your humanity and everyone is immersed in the animal suffering those grouping together in fear to gher power will infict on the rest.

You try to reinforce your perceptions of loss, ................ without naming the principles it stands for. You cannot lose them, only give them up.

Your point is made, but the first change is in us. To reject the erroneous thinking the usurpers have taught us. The Constitution may have been written by white slave holders, but those that died to protect it are the ones that matter to me. What they died for shall not be a phantom. It is the principles therein. When we can take them and use them to unify, we will find new acceptance and uses of them.

An article V convention may then be approached, but not until then, and that is what is needed.

Any chance you'll name the "usurpers"?:cuckoo:

Whatever you do, don't get a digital converter box for your tv...it's a scam to allow the government to track you.

You have never read it, that's clear as day. If you think who wrote it changes it's meaning then you are naive, willfully.

Um ... wrong scam, if they wanted to "track you" then they'd all be free and made in the USA, not some cheap crap from a failing company.

Really? Funny, constitutional scholars disagree with you.

It needs to be re-written....it was originally written by rich white slave owners trying to protect themselves from government....the reality is that it is the government that needs protection......you can trace the laws passed through congress back to lobbyist money almost without exception.......we do need a change in this country and the first thing that really needs to be changed is the lobbying laws!!!!!!

changing the laws surrounding lobbyists doesn't require a constitutional change. And the constitution wasn't ever intended to protect "government"... it was intended to protect people *from* government.

For now, any who have impeded the uses of evidence and reason and continued the deprivation of due process to 3,000 murder victims, are the most obvious usurpers. Make your own list.

But that will be no use until you can find Americans that will and can unify behind the principles that justify due process by awareness of the sacred principles of our social contract.

Good luck!
