This is a "Republican" Victory?

asked if she was going door to door and she publicly answered, "I'm not going to go out and shake hands with a bunch of stangers"

Without looking it up,...".
That seems to be your MO for everything you post rdean. You just spew random garbage that doesn't address the topic at hand.

Now that is a flat out lie. I usually link, but not always. But I always tell the truth, unlike Republicans. Which is why they get so angry. They call me a liar, but NEVER say was it was I lied about.

You are funny.

You can try to spin this any way you want rdean, we all know the truth. This election was a stinging rebuke of Obama and his socialist agenda. Period. Whatever Scott Brown does, he has, with his election, stopped the single worst piece of legislation in modern memory from passing. You can't expect the American people to sit by idly while backroom deals, kickbacks, and union bribes are used to ram shitty legislation down our throats. We simply won't stand for it.

Come November I have a feeling we conservatives will be gloating about our victories again while liberal ideologues will be whining and rationalizing their defeats.

Obama's arrogance is his Achilles heel, he is a cocky sumbitch who has forgotten that "we the people" are the real bosses. He'd better learn quickly or he'll be shown the door.

Do you know ANYTHING about health care in Ma? Seriously.

i know it costs way more than anyone thought it would.

i know the majority of people here think that it's unaffordable.
i know the majority of people here like their healthcare and don't like healthcare reform on a federal level as currently proposed.

Pressing Issues

The survey asked whether the recession was over in Massachusetts, and 90 percent of voters said no. The most important issue facing our next U.S. senator is the economy/jobs, according to 44 percent of voters polled; 38 percent said health care.

The survey also found:

* 54 percent support Massachusetts’ near-universal health care law
* 62 percent believe Massachusetts cannot afford its health care system
* 51 percent oppose the proposed national health care plan
* 61 percent believe the federal government cannot afford the proposed national health care plan

Suffolk University - Poll shows Brown Overtaking Coakley

all i know is, once the attack ads kept mentioning that brown would vote against it, his numbers got better.

I know that a majority of voters elected the man who said "I WILL KILL OBAMACARE".

PS- I have family all over Massachusetts....

The right is peeing itself over getting from 40 to 41 Republican Senators. Like it's the greatest electoral achievement in the history of the nation.

Anyone got the ambition to look up when's the last time the Democrats went from 40 to 41 Senators?

I gave up looking. lol

That 1% is a true game changer. No more supermajority for the DEMS. It matters.

I seem to remember the last time a party held 59 senate seats was like back in 1974 or something.

The super majority was given to Obama to reverse the Republican destruction of the US and bring health care, since the number one cause of bankruptcies in this country is due to medical bills and the system is going bankrupt because people are using emergency rooms for their health care, the overhaul is needed. What did Republicans do for eight years? Oh that's right, moved jobs overseas, kept the cost of two wars hidden and declared war on the Middle Class.

Obama's problem it trying to work in a bipartisan fashion with screw-ups who have publicly stated they want the president to fail. What a bunch of turds. First, they work overtime to ruin this country and then do everything to stand in the way of fixing their mess. And they are proud of that. Can you believe it.

Well, one thing this bill does is stop the "pre existing condition" clause used to deny children health care. Of course, Republicans only want to get them born and then "screw 'em", it not MY kid.

We know that insurance companies stand between patients and doctors. They are the true "death panels". Republican health care - "Die quickly". How many say, "What's wrong with that?"

Good day to you all! I am new on this forum and want to make my statements from the other side of your world, The Netherlands! This morning my newspaper told me that Obama said that he made mistakes, because the democrats lost the majority of seats in the senate and that this will bring the health insurance plan in trouble. I do not think Obama makes mistakes, he is trying to give the American people health care! Here in Europe it is quite normal that everybody has a health insurance and that everybody get the medical attention they need, even if they don't pay their health insurance bills. In the USA however people are sent away if they are nut insured, which is really not understandable. Even uninsured illegal immigrants get free medical care over here. Nobody will be sent away. The way it has been done so far in the USA, as far as I am informed, is like a third world country which I do not think you want to be called. So herewith I would really like to ask you to support this plan. Don't let Obama down! For the first time in my life there is an American President who is honest and a reliable person. He really does the best he can for the United States and the world loves him. So please, please, please don't give up on Obama.

This is a "Republican" Victory?
It was a victory for the American Citizenry, who cares about what it represents for Republicans.

It was the 73% of Independents voting for Scott that sent him to Washington.

Message to BOTH parties..... there are more of us than there are of you. We surround you. Better smarten up or we'll throw you all out.

Love his nude centerfold.

Me too. I don't care if he dances naked every day.... so long as he represents 'we, the People' he can pitch up in congress naked as the day he was born for all I care.

Welcome to the board.

We are NOT Europe. You are welcome to run your country any way your people choose. Kindly recognize that we are a sovereign nation and don't need Europe to tell us how to live. Thanks.

Your so right. The Indi's carried the day in MA.

Brown seems to be conservative on some issues and liberal on others much like me. I will be interested to see how he does in DC, the land of evil. LOL.

A big welcome to the board also.

But, as Cali says, this is America. Not socialist Europe. We do our own thing here and don't follow the herd. Rest assured. We will figure it out. We always do. Again, welcome.

Conservatives who know that they are a permanent minority in American politics might call this a game-changer.

A state senator being voted into office really doesn't mean anything about any other state and their issues or ideals.

It speaks on that one state who has been changing to an Independent affiliation. Which is usually more left than right. But still very independent like myself.

Hopefully we will continue to see more voters no longer register for either party.

 That's funny. Bipartisan way. Obama completely shut out republicans from all the back door meetings and.

Obama didn't need one republican vote for a whole year to pass anything that he wanted.

The problem for him is that he tried to pass the most radical, leftist, agenda, out there. And even some democrats want to keep their seats.

If the bill is so good why do Obama's political cronies get exemptions?
