Yes, those are all facts from one side of the issue. Agreed.Acknowledging the facts means acknowledging the vast majority of Muslims (like the vast majority of white guys) are not involved in terrorism or violence. It means hate, such as that which murdered50 people yesterday, 12 people in October, and 9 people in June 2015 should have no place in our society. It should never be normalized, it should not be subject to what abouts, and labeling it what it is, senseless hate and violence is acknowledging the facts. Anything else is a dangerous attempt to rationalize and normalize it.There's a lot of hate and bigotry and "evil" in this world. It's all over the place, coming at us from all directions.
The least we can do is acknowledge facts without spinning away from them and attacking the messenger, in a transparent effort to change the subject.
Doing that pretty much makes it look like we're forgiving and enabling that particular evil.
