I have little doubt my descendants will thrive on Trump's of checking the left's socialist agenda as much as we are thriving today, possibly more so.

I have little doubt our descendants will consider today's leftist socialist agenda to be the unassailable mainstream. Look at every other leftist idea throughout US history: social security, medicare, medicaid, gay marriage and equality, legalized pot, racial equality, women's rights and protections, etc.

You are probably right. Then our society will corrode and die, we will have a war or revolution, and society will start all over again. Much more conservative than the one that crumbled. And the cycle will start all over again. You think history should teach us something.
