This Election!

Slavery lasted in America long after it was abolished in europe .. but more importantly and germaine to this conversation, after slavery was abolished in the US, it was followed by another 100 years of Jim Crow terrorism .. and as I've said, African-Americans found refuge in europe.

All true. The policies of slavery and genocide that the Europeans used to carve the United States, Australia, S. Africa, et al into the world map didn't die nearly as quickly or neatly as they were put away in Europe itself... and this did create more time for attitudes to evolve in the nations of the 'first' world.

Racism may be slowing dying but classism is thriving.

Not exactly progress in my opinion

The good news is America is morphing into something new. The younger generation do not carry the ignorant gene of their parents and the older more racist generation is dying, shrinking, and wilting away.

American demographics are changing .. which may signal the death of the Republican Party as we know it today ..

And the death of America as we've known it for the past 230 plus years

Oh the drama!
