I hope we put him out of job. I bet he drawing his buyout by Sunday. ROLL TIDE!

The Alabama rivalry has defined Phillip Fulmer's head coaching career at Tennessee.

Bring up the Crimson Tide around Fulmer, and it takes about a second to get his juices going. This is his game, his rivalry, the one he wants to win more than any other.

Former Tennessee offensive lineman Arron Sears put it best when he once said, "Alabama is the game for him. Alabama and Florida are the two biggest games. But with Alabama, there's some hate blood around that."

Fulmer won't cop to hating the Crimson Tide. In fact, he all but committed to Bear Bryant when he was in high school back in the late 1960s. Fulmer grew up in Winchester, Tenn., about 10 miles from the Alabama border, and the lure of the Bear was strong back in those days.

But Fulmer elected to stay in state, and he's bled orange ever since.
