Brexit huh?
What do you know about Brexit? Or the EU? Do you know what the EU actually does and why it exists?

Splain it to me POGO, in ten words or less.

So that's a no?
Going to continue to hide behind murky vague stuff like "New World Order" that never gets defined are we?

There's no such thing as ten words or less.. Sounds like you don't want to know. :lalala:
Besides which --- it would be "ten words or fewer".

Were I hiding would I be here? And excuse my second language attempt Professor. Now go play, like a good swamp rat, with one of the teeny boppers you admire. I will wait for your intellectual splanation.

I have voted 3rd party anytime I could not stand the other two weevils -- Gore vs Bush and Clinton vs Trump.

The American voter has been bush wacked for the past several elections. I am beginning to long for the days of "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country". Not to mention he had a taste for good women. It is a shame we cannot seem to get our politicians on board the America Express Train instead of the Trans Nowhere Express. Perhaps Trump (Rump to the others) will prove to be the exception. Curse "Bubba" W all you want but the world of Islam will not forget him anytime soon. It is a shame Bubba pulled the forces from Iraq and allowed ISIS to form. Oh wait, was that Bubba? Gonna have to do some more research.

Kewl, so you admit you don't know what you're talking about. That's step one.

Here goes, without the word count limitation --- the EU a/k/a EEC a/k/a "Common Market" was conceived to be a --- and this was exactly the term used --- "United States of Europe" to coordinate the various Euro states so that it could compete as a collective with the overwhelming economic influence of the United States (of America). This includes cooperation on agricultural plans, tariffs, even legal procedures, which are centralized in Belgium. Imagine that Vermont and South Dakota and Georgia and Illinois and California etc were all separate independent nations, each of which did things differently, each having its own currency, its own trade policies with the whole world, and then one day somebody said, :eusa_doh: hey, we're on the same continent --- why don't we organize together to compete as a unit with China?

And not only was Britain one of the founding members, Winston Churchill was one of its ardent champions to make it happen.

So, fast-forward to 2016 -- the Brexit vote may represent, in large part or in the main, a measure of people who don't understand how their own continent works. Remember how the morning after the Brexit vote, Britain saw a spike in internet searches on the question "what happens if we leave the EU"?

Sometimes when you find yourself typing bullshit terms like "New World Order" it pays to stop and ask yourself, "wait -- what do I mean by that?". And if you don't have an answer ---- stop everything until you do.

I have too ---- it's a drop in the bucket, but only when I was living in a state that was already locked-red or locked-blue and the Electrical College had already nullified everybody's vote.

I remember actually having to explain that to people in 2000, in Louisiana.

Good job, POGO. You are spot on with the definition, general perhaps but spot on. Thank you for breaking it down to a 8th grade level. And by the way, you could have and in fact did explain in "ten words or less". "United States of Europe". You under estimate even yourself POGO. Shame on you. And shame on Winnie Churchill, Europe and the Europeans in general for not understanding that each nation of that organization has it's own individual history, work ethic, and past which each wish to keep and live. Hence we have a pretend "United States of Europe". Europe has resisted consolidation since it's inception and the British are the latest to break step with the Grand Foo Pa in Belgium. Europe will never form the union achieved by the United States of America. Have you been there lately? Talked to the "folks" lately? No matter where or whom you speak with, they would prefer to have the good old days again. Nationalism is alive and well in Europe. They are also sick of socialism. France, Germany and certainly the British want their independence, to make it on their own, NATO not with standing. That is why we, the USA, have to carry the burden. Do I want them to fail, of course not, but I also understand the importance of being your own people, something you and your ilk cannot stand the thought of. Now that you have trashed your own position, now that you have shown you feel "I'm ok, your ok, we are all ok, we all are not ok any longer. Which brings me back to the original thought of this discussion. As the OP I floated the idea that perhaps it is time for a third political party, the ADP or whatever, "the Deplorable". You ignored that fact and settled right in doing a "progressively" splendid job of diverting the mission of this discussion. Further, you have slighted folks, myself included, while enduring no slight but a jab or two by myself while showing your self to be the intolerant shrew progressive you are. Might I ask you to get back on topic or leave! And yes, The New World Order does exist and in fact the entire feminist / progressive decadent movement demands it's existence. Chill Clyde and get back on point or leave.

I know the EU! Estados Unidos = US, right?

Darned close if I say so myself. I know that the EU is a lot like the New World Order and it dragging the US down the drain. And the Brits are sick and tired of it. Good lick anotherlife! There comes a time when folks just want to be themselves and make it on their own. Unless you are a Muskrat I guess.

It is indeed a huge problem, that the EU got overrun by the Marxists. Marxists love national borders. A division on purpose of robbery and looting. I wonder what will happen now along the Northern Ireland border. I guess the Irish will not fancy a country border zapping across their villages any more than the German in Konigsberg. The Marxist are killing the Europeans smarter, than the brexit voters would ever imagine. Juicily interesting.

 Rest assured, I have never been "ashamed" to know what I'm talking about. That doesn't even make sense.

That means as an economic dynamic --- not a cultural one. How a dairy farm finds its market is the former, not the latter.

The rest of this post was an incoherent ramble of never-ending verbage with the apparent anarchy of a French traffic circle during rush hour, so I couldn't even get through it.

Two words of advice for future endeavours:

"Paragraph breaks".

Thank you POGO. My run on sentence was just for you even though I admit in poor taste. In any event, get through it you did. I posted a poll in the CDZ with reference to Romney as Sec of State. Check it out I would love your input but please comply with the requests. Nice talking with you and have a nice day. I amso IR
