What I find the most disgusting is that he's saying it's just fine to hurt them because they're democrats.

Democrats don't get equal protection and representation by our president. In fact he believes it's ok to persecute them by not paying them and forcing them to face possible financial troubles and lower credit scores. They're democrats so it's ok to do that to them.

I find that just about one of the most disgusting things I've heard that man say and as we all know, he's said a lot of very disgusting things since he declared his candidacy in 2015.

That it's not a loss of votes. He will have to change his tune when the shutdown gets to the seniors though..... If the Dems can hold out that long the seniors will force his hand.
