They Vote and They Reproduce. . . .

Sounds like your average dumbed-down Socialist/Progressive Democrat. Ban ACORN and maybe most of these dimwits wont know how to vote and will be absent on Election Day. "Obama pays my Welfare Check." Yikes!

You would have to be a drooling idiot to believe that Mickey Mouse and Paul Newman actually voted. Or a Republican. Why do they think that? If you say something out loud and it sounds "stupid", it probably is. Republicans should practice saying things out loud.

"Mickey Mouse voted in the last election." See how stupid that sounds?

Voter Registration Fraud is not Voter Fraud. Two separate things... ACORN is guilty of the first.... not necessarily the second. Unsurprisingly, some droolers don't understand the difference, and if they do, they seem unperturbed by it. Cheating taxpayers is a big deal - to taxpayers.... Hmmmmm, maybe that's why the left don't see it as a problem. It ain't their money.

"Obama pays my Welfare Check." Yea that really does sum up your average dimwitted Socialist/Progressive Democrat. Seriously, without corrupt groups like ACORN,these dimwits wouldn't even know how to vote. Lets face it,most lazy & ignorant people do vote for Democrats. It is what it is. Ban corrupt groups like ACORN and this should keep these dimwits away from the voting booth.

Kind of puts a little perspective on falling for the hope and change bullshit.

Though the disease isn't limited to just Obama supporters, you're right that it explains how the ignorant and uninformed can be so easily swayed by platitudes, talking points, and catch phrases. Say "Welfare Reform" and they respond like Pavlov's dogs with something like "You want to take the food out of mouths of babies." Say "Suppport the troops" and you're a warmonger. Say "tax cuts" and you want to enrich the rich and evil corporations.

Want to know how gullible and controllable these people are? You weren't convinced by that Howard Stern clip? I know some of you have seen this clip, but it is a beautiful illustration:

Idiocracy: in modern society, natural selection has become indifferent toward intelligence, so that in a society in which intelligence is systematically debased, stupid people easily out-breed the intelligent, creating, over the course of five centuries, an irredeemably dysfunctional society. Consequently, the children of the educated elites are drowned in a sea of sexually promiscuous, illiterate, alcoholic, degenerate peers.

We've got to have all seen this by now, over 2 million views and counting.

For crying out loud, RW, don't sugar coat it. Tell us how you really feel. :)

Ollie, I wasn't among the 2 million that have seen that clip but I am now. Just leaves you shaking your head doesn't it.

Its not me....its the premise for a stupid movie

Amazing, isn't it? And then they will ask; WHY?

Somewhat misleading in their sample...do a hundred interviews and pick out the worst responses. It has kept Jay Leno on the air for 20 years

You could do the same thing with Tea Baggers

Probably could, But I don't believe they asked 100 people all those questions at one place in one day. Most people probably declined to spend the 5 minutes to answer. My bet is they did no more than 20 or 25, or maybe just the twelve like they said.

At any rate we all can see the pattern. but you go ahead and deny it, facts are that most people are truly that uninformed. And that is a shame.

I would agree most are not as informed as say people on this board from both sides. The majority of Americans go about their lives without worrying about Barney Frank or Harry Reid. They work...raise their families...pay their bills

You saw people recognized who Nancy Pelosi was. How many Americans knew who Denny Hastert was ?

You know, I think it would be harder to do with those folks attending the tea parties. All of those folks I've met know their history and they know their current events. They would miss some of the more obscure names and issues, yes, but I'm guessing that 99 out of 100 of them do know the key players and which major issues those players support or don't support. That's why they're going to the tea parties.

The few you would find who couldn't do that would likely not be true tea partiers but just folks who show up at weddings and funerals and parades or anything going on just to have something to do. The folks in those interviews featured in this thread I believe are the real deal. All nice, well dressed, pleasant folks--not wild-eyed fanatics. But they're just purely ignorant and almost certainly buying into the rock star groupee thing rather than operating from any intellectual or ideological conviction.

ROFLMNAO....

Sweet irony is the BEST IRONY...

These people aren't old enough to vote yet, but they will be soon. And it is even more unnerving than those other folks identified on this thread:

According to a recent ABC poll:

Fourteen percent of U.S. teens think the Fourth of July will mark the historic day we declared independence from France. Another five percent think we rose up against the tyrannous Canadians on July 4, 1776. A full fifth didn't have any idea which country we declared independence from, and 15 percent didn't know that the Fourth of July was about American independence at all.

17% of teens polled didn't know there were 13 original colonies.

19% couldn't name all three branches of the Federal government.

13% didn't know how many sides fought the Civil War or what the sides were.

31% could not name the composer of the Star Spangled Banner.

Many got failing grades on numerous other questions designed for Fourth Graders.

Still feel like we're getting our money's worth from education folks?

Gleanings from today's e-mail, this was so right for this thread, I had to post it:

I don't like them, ergo they should not be allowed to live or reproduce.

Hmmmmm.

Now where have we heard THAT before?
