It has nothing to do with solar or wind nonsense either. All you have to do is look up thorium or LFTR and you'll see. It has already been done so there's no new phyics involved just a little engineering to scale it to suit the variousv applications. It can be used to convert every fossil fueled power plant in the country to safe, clean and cheap nuclear fission that is substantially different and safer than current uranium fueled, light water reactors.

Nuclear power was the revolution that never was because of the dangers. People are working on harnessing it safely. Maybe then we can make the jump.

If you look into thorium you'll see that the dangers associated with uranium fueled light water reactors have already been addressed. Some of the reasons it's so safe having to do with not being able to be used to create weapons grade materials is why it has been politically held back for so long.
