There's A Problem -

Every politician regardless of party knows that a dem is going to vote straight dem and a repub is going to vote straight repub. They figured this out many years ago and could give a shit what their base wants. It's never going to change until we go to the polls and split our tickets and pick what we might think is the better person for the job. We the voters brought it on ourselves.

If it were up to me no country would get foreign aid from America.

They love our money but sure as shit couldn't care less about America or Americans.

That saved money would be more than enough to build the wall.

It would build a lot more than that.

Ineffective. As predicted by several early Americans, candidates drag their parties into office with them.

We essentially become Lilliput, starting wars over which end of the egg to crack.
