There were no WMD's in IRAQ Period

A relative and military leader of Saddam Hussein defected and told us Saddam didn't have WMDs. Bush (and his administration) told the American public that a relative of Saddam Hussein had effected and told us Saddam did have WMDs. Bush lied, lied, lied, lied... and only reprobates, the kind of fucktards that support Israel could still insist Saddam had WMDs or that Bush didn't lie.

Hussein Kamel al-Majid, "I ordered destruction of all chemical weapons. All weapons—biological, chemical, missile, nuclear—were destroyed."

Dick Cheney, "We now know that Saddam has resumed his efforts to acquire nuclear weapons. Among other sources, we've gotten this from the firsthand testimony of defectors -- including Saddam's own son-in-law."

"In the build-up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq, Bush administration figures—including George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and Colin Powell—repeatedly cited Kamel's testimony as evidence that Iraq possessed Weapons of Mass Destruction, even though Kamel had openly stated that he had overseen the destruction of all such weapons." - Wikipedia

Your a hundred percent correct only Israeli supporters believe there wmds in Iraq, and second of all are half the Americans this fucking dumb? As if that is our business every military has weopons of mass destruction doesn't mean you bomb them. Israel has hundreds of REAL Wmds where are the right wingers calling for the bombing of Israel?

Hahaha. Of course they don't care. They want the American public to forget all about how President Bush and a GOP Congress made the invasion and occupation of Iraq the worse US Forigen Policy disaster in modern history.

Hey ShitForBrains....

"Hey Dick Breath"

On Sept. 18, 2002, CIA director George Tenet briefed President Bush in the Oval Office on top-secret intelligence that Saddam Hussein did not have weapons of mass destruction, according to two former senior CIA officers. Bush dismissed as worthless this information from the Iraqi foreign minister, a member of Saddam’s inner circle, although it turned out to be accurate in every detail. Tenet never brought it up again.

Nor was the intelligence included in the National Intelligence Estimate of October 2002, which stated categorically that Iraq possessed WMD. No one in Congress was aware of the secret intelligence that Saddam had no WMD as the House of Representatives and the Senate voted, a week after the submission of the NIE, on the Authorization for Use of Military Force in Iraq. The information, moreover, was not circulated within the CIA among those agents involved in operations to prove whether Saddam had WMD.

Please, some one provide proof of full scale WMD's in IRAQ.
Clinton said so in December of 1998 when he went to war with Iraq.
Told us how big of a threat Iraq was, and how much of a threat Iraq would be if not dealt with.

So, we knew he had them in December 1998. Where did they go?
If they werent there -- Why did Clinton Lie?

Former president George W Bush has admitted there were no WMD's in Iraq.

No one had more to lose than Bush in making that admission; that makes the admission substantially more credible than anyone else's admission of the same.

It's called a declaration against interests and is given heavy weight as evidence in a court of law simply because the person saying it is, as the term implies,

making the statement despite it being detrimental to his own interests.

Pretty much, it was case closed once Bush admitted that.

Sorry - I missed that declaration made by President Bush, polesmoker.

Can you pull it out of your ass and post it?

Thanks Food Stamp.

Although I find this topic abit antiquated, here is something I found on youtube.

Rove Admits: No WMD Found In Iraq

Then there is the Wiki article on the issue that lists sources at the bottom of the page for your own perusal
Iraq and weapons of mass destruction - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
(SEE BOTTOM OF PAGE FOR MORE RESOURCES)

Listen--I am voting for Romney. But this issue does lead to distrust in our federal government. Why a Obama supporter would even bring this up is pretty obvious and is very silly to try and denounce their desperation for this. But it is important to go back over the Mass destruction issue. There were no WEAPON GRADE Biological, chemical nor nuclear materials in Iraq..

PS--The materials that were found, such as the canisters of defunct agent that could not give a bad rash or tons of enrich uranium that "could be used in a dirty bomb" were not considered weapons grade material. In other words, those things that were found were not the basis for war due to "threats of weapons of mass destruction" that was used to the build up to the war.

This topic is old and does not have a place in todays election cycle. Nice try, Dems in trying to deflect from the real issues facing this country.

Yeah all they found were a lot of "pesticides" stockpiled everywhere. I guess Sadam was a freak about keeping bugs out of his warehouses.

We gave Saddam 10 years to live up to the terms of the ceasefire treaty. He failed to do so and showed no signs of ever doing so. Going in was exactly the right thing to do. We just should done 5 or 6 yrs earlier.

Actually--there were a time that Hussein had a large stockpile of WMD's.

That was before desert storm(the war of 1991)--and a decade of removal followed led by our nation and the UN. There are only a few methods that Hussein could have maintained or started rebuilding that stockpile.

1)He hid some of his stockpile during desert storm and they were never destroyed.

2)An allied nation helped him hide or manufacture wmd(Some people claim that this country is Syria--but I find that highly doubtful due to Syria's close ties to Iran. )

3)He was able to manufacture WMDs in mobile and/or hidden factories.

But all this is speculation with much of the info rejected after the second Iraq War. So I go with the obvious rational--Our military did not find any weapons grade WMDs(with all the intell that our government currently had) Therefore there was no weapon grade WMD's.

Scumbags like you want to resurrect him, under the name of Romney.

and you douchebags want to resurrect Jesus Christ under the name of Obama

The Country is full of arm chair intelligence agents so let's see if they can figure this one out. President Bush gave Iraq about a year to comply with UN sanctions. Before that Iran had no nuclear program. Iraq sent it's tiny air force to Iran to save it from destruction. Umm, see what I'm getting at? Is it possible that Saddam sent his nuclear program to Iran? Anyway Bill Clinton said that Iraq had a nuclear program but it wasn't the main reason we kicked ass with the greatest Military in the world. Democrats authorized the President to use combat Troops to enforce UN sanctions and then the traitors sat back and pretended that they were just bystanders or members of the jihad and undermined the Military effort..

Except that, despite your very smug arrogance, you don't get to decide what constitutes a WMD. It's already been decided - and they are nuclear, biological, and chemcical weapons. And the FACT is, there were TONS of chemical weapons and some nuclear found in Iraq.

Chemical Weapons found in Iraq:

(From Chuck Pfarerr's book, Seal Target: Geronimo)

It is a chilling fact that thousands of chemical weapons have been uncovered in Iraq. *These weapons have been used by Al Qaeda against coalition and NATO forces on dozens of occasions. *This has been confirmed by countless sources, most recently in the released WikiLeaks cables.

So why haven't the American people been told of the stock-piled caches of chemical WMD's uncovered in Iraq or of the chemical weapon attacks by Al Qaeda?

The Republicans won’t touch this because it would reveal the incompetence of the Bush administration in failing to neutralize the danger of Iraqi WMD (instead of preventing Weapons of Mass Destruction from falling into the hands of terrorists, the 2003 invasion of Iraq has accelerated the acquisition, manufacture, and use of chemical weapons by Al Qaeda). The Democrats won’t touch it because it would show President Bush was right to invade Iraq in the first place. It is an axis of embarrassment. *And the*press won't touch it because they had already convinced themselves, and most of the American public, that Saddam Hussein didn’t have any WMD's. *The media turned a blind eye to continued reports of chemical weapon attacks because its own credibility was threatened. Several major outlets were deeply invested with the story line of an “unjustifiable war". *Not many people can bear to admit they were wrong, especially in print, and especially if they have been very wrong for a very long time.

And even the radical left-wing propaganda machine of the Dumbocrat party acknowledge it:

Nuclear Weapons found in Iraq:

Instead of taking Pelosi's advice, Bush would do better to explain to the American people just what U.S. forces did find in their search for banned weapons in Iraq - starting with, for instance, the 1.8 tons of partially enriched uranium Saddam had socked away.

Here's how the Associated Press covered that news last June:

"In a secret operation, the United States last month removed from Iraq nearly two tons of uranium and hundreds of highly radioactive items that could have been used in a so-called dirty bomb, the Energy Department disclosed Tuesday.

"The nuclear material was secured from Iraq's former nuclear research facility and airlifted out of the country to an undisclosed Energy Department laboratory for further analysis," the AP said.

"Energy Secretary Spencer Abraham described the previously undisclosed operation, which was concluded June 23, as 'a major achievement' in an attempt to 'keep potentially dangerous nuclear material out of the hands of terrorists.'"

When we talk of "WMD's" we are talking about weapons grade material.

Not Hospital refuse or the like--weapons grade material. To get an idea what I mean, we could probably remove an equivalent amount of radioactive material from Cuba. In fact, the Cubans would happily give it to us since it is virtually useless.

"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line."
--President Bill Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."
--President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998

"Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face."
--Madeline Albright, Feb 18, 1998

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983."
--Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."
Letter to President Clinton, signed by:
-- Democratic Senators Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, and others, Oct. 9, 1998

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."
-Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998

"Hussein has ... chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies."
-- Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999

"There is no doubt that ... Saddam Hussein has reinvigorated his weapons programs. Reports indicate that biological, chemical and nuclear programs continue apace and may be back to pre-Gulf War status. In addition, Saddam continues to redefine delivery systems and is doubtless using the cover of a licit missile program to develop longer-range missiles that will threaten the United States and our allies."
Letter to President Bush, Signed by:
-- Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL), and others, Dec 5, 2001

"We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and a threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the mandate of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and th! e means of delivering them."
-- Sen. Carl Levin (D, MI), Sept. 19, 2002

"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country."
-- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

"Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power."
-- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction."
-- Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002

"The last UN weapons inspectors left Iraq in October of 1998. We are confident that Saddam Hussein retains some stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, and that he has since embarked on a crash course to build up his chemical and biological warfare capabilities. Intelligence reports indicate that he is seeking nuclear weapons..."
-- Sen. Robert Byrd (D, WV), Oct. 3, 2002

"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force -- if necessary -- to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security."
-- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002

"There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years ... We also should remember we have always underestimated the progress Saddam has made in development of weapons of mass destruction."
-- Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D, WV), Oct 10, 2002

"He has systematically violated, over the course of the past 11 years, every significant UN resolution that has demanded that he disarm and destroy his chemical and biological weapons, and any nuclear capacity. This he has refused to do"
-- Rep. Henry Waxman (D, CA), Oct. 10, 2002

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members ... It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
-- Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

"We are in possession of what I think to be compelling evidence that Saddam Hussein has, and has had for a number of years, a developing capacity for the production and storage of weapons of mass destruction."
-- Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL), Dec. 8, 2002

"Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation ... And now he is miscalculating America's response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction ... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real..."
-- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Jan. 23. 2003

AND Everyone of those people were around when the 1991 CEASE FIRE was signed!
A "CEASE FIRE" meaning no more firing right?
So if someone starts firing AND AS SADDAM did over as 19 separate UN resolutions over a period of 12 years argued...
Resolution 1441 gave CLEAR permission for military action against him and ending the CEASE FIRE!

But people unlike YOU don't seem to know that!

The cease fire was sign by the UN. 1441 had no military action clause. The only reason it passed the SC was because president Bush promised not to invade without seeking a new resolution. Again he lied.
