There Goes the Narrative

/----/ The majority think there is either a crisis or a problem. It all depends on how you define the terms. Not everyone agrees and as you can see each has three definitions.

The question is, WHY is it a problem? It's a problem because Trump has made it one.

The reality is, we've cut illegal border crossing by 80% since 2000, when we went from 1.6 Million illegal crossing a year to 310,000 in 2018.

Part of that is because of fences, but most of that is because of improved economic conditions in Mexico, tougher workplace enforcement in the US, and better methodology on the part of the Border Patrol in using human intelligence and strategies in cooperating with Mexican officials.

So is it a crisis? Only in the regards that Trump has created a false crisis to rile up his base and appeal to racism.
Why do the Left care more about illegals than Americans forced to live under bridges?
Would you call homelessness a crisis deserving the sort of government shutdown Trump has caused? Didn't think so.
Is it?

2020 is going to be a cakewalk.

For the Democrats, I agree.

Trump can't clear 40% approval with a good economy.

there just aren't enough angry old white folks, and with new democrat governors in the Rust belt, that voter suppression shit is coming to an end.
Open borders, defund ICE, going to be fun to watch the bloodbath.

Of course not. Government shutdowns are stupid and useless.

That's another discussion but the argument can be made that the republican congress not being used to voting FOR things simply had no idea how to use it's majority power.

Plurality of Voters Think There’s a Crisis at the Border

I said a few months ago Democrats were making a stand at Little Big Horn, and my prophecy has been fulfilled.

All that proves is the Rep party backs up it's fear mongering hypocrite leader

Seasonal as in illegal or not illegal ??? Big difference.

what does it matter?

stealing any job here is stealing our jobs
Yes, but we do need workers if have a short fall due to the trends and idiocy that has created the short fall in this country of American Laborers. We must reverse the trends in a phase out by stages over time, and we must restore honor and integrity in the U.S. labor markets (i.e. making a person proud to work no matter what the job is).

A pipe dream that needs to become a reality again in America for American's.

We have been sold a bill of poisonous goods over the years by our own greed driven short sighted traitors in this country.
I wouldn't call them "traitors," but otherwise I agree. A lot of the seasonal work is hard to fill, though, because with the job market being good, people have year-round jobs, even if they're not full-time, and people aren't going to give that up for a five or six month job (or less) that may pay okay but is over at the end of the season. The rent keeps coming due EVERY month.
Seasonal workers is not the issue really.

What we have had over the years, and ever since NAFTA, was a willingness to go along with the world efforts in order to have labor equal out in order to create a world labor market for globalist greed stricken tyrants where ever they might exist in the world. This is a huge mistake for nations whom want protected borders, sovereignty, and the retaining of their specific cultures, idenitity, and belief systems.

Plurality of Voters Think There’s a Crisis at the Border

I said a few months ago Democrats were making a stand at Little Big Horn, and my prophecy has been fulfilled.
/----/ There is a difference between thinking there is a "problem" and thinking there is "no problem." You can't lump the two together.

You can when there is a 3rd choice.

If
30 people vote for Choice A
20 people vote for Choice B
20 people vote for neither Choice A or B

You can accurately say that more people preferred something other than Choice A.
/----/ The majority think there is either a crisis or a problem. It all depends on how you define the terms. Not everyone agrees and as you can see each has three definitions.

crisis (krīˈsĭs)

  • n.
A crucial or decisive point or situation; a turning point.
  • n.
An unstable condition, as in political, social, or economic affairs, involving an impending abrupt or decisive change.
  • n.
A sudden change in the course of a disease or fever, toward either improvement or deterioration.
problem (prŏbˈləm)

  • n.
A question to be considered, solved, or answered: math problems; the problem of how to arrange transportation.
  • n.
A situation, matter, or person that presents perplexity or difficulty: was having problems breathing; considered the main problem to be his boss. See Usage Note at dilemma.
  • n.
A misgiving, objection, or complaint: I have a problem with his cynicism.

Ok but the OP said a plurality thinks there is a crisis; you’re expanding the definition to include those who think there is a problem as well

/----/ Good News Sparky - Trump clears 40% approval. Now go ask Mommy for a cookie.

Friday, January 11, 2019

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 45% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty-four percent (54%) disapprove.

80 % believe there is a problem.

That's why we can't allocate 0.00% of the budget to it. We are the democrats, party of the people.

Nearly 50% think there is either no crisis or no problem at all. Fail.
79% say it's a problem.

They promised me there would be no math, candybrain says...…..

Uh no...

37% think there is a problem
12% think there is no problem
49% think there is no crisis compared to 42%
“Nearly 50% think there is either no crisis or no problem at all. Fail.”

You edit facts like CNN

I'm not certain why you can't make out your own link but it clearly says 42% of "all voters" see a crisis. 37 percent see a problem. 12 percent see neither a crisis or a problem. That means 49% (or nearly 50%) see no crisis.

Did you intend to be this funny?

It means 49% of THOSE POLLED see no crisis, nothing more, nothing less.
