Economics is fairly straight forward.

Since when? It's more like psychology than any hard science.
Economics is built upon a foundation of a simple yes or no question. What is this simple question, you ask? Easy.


"If I gave you a choice, right now, would you prefer to purchase an egg over a glass of wine?"


See, very simple. Put several trillion of these answers into a fancy formula and integrate it a couple dozen times, and voila, you have Neoclassical Economics!


P.S. The invisible hand you likely have heard about is simply the combination of humanity's answer to the above question.
