I know how to use the quote function. I don't like it.

Too complicated? At least put the name of the person you are quoting in there for fucks sake. Cherrypicking one or two sentances from a persons post without disclosing it's source is pretty lame and lazy.
 
Look, everything is on the board. It's not like I'm making up the quotes. Live with it. It's how I post.
 
Yehhbut it's harder to follow the train of thought of the conversation. I find that the back-links provided in the little |>| next to the person's name make it possible to back up and get a better handle of the context of the conversation. Also, it is nice to see exactly who you are replying to. The same sentence from two different posters can be taken in 2 diametrically opposed manners, due to board history of the poster.

Like, for instance, if I said:

Fuck you Jeremy, you piddlepuddle oreo snitch bitch.

He would laugh. If CurveLight said it, he's going to take it as a challenge.
 
By definition, conservatism can't do better. It's the status quo or the past for them. They can try to convince you that the past was better but please, why did it change then?
