Didn't the U.S. provide funds for the mujahedeen, from which various terror groups emerged?
Wasn't Ghaddafi part of the secular groups that the West supported to counter the Soviets? Even Saddam was supported to counter Islamic fundamentalists. Meanwhile, the same West worked with Saudi Arabia over oil while funding the Israelis and striking deals with Iran using laundered drug money.
And when the West invaded Afghanistan, didn't they use the Northern Alliance, which consisted of drug pushers and rapists, to take over, leading to a rise in poppy production?
